Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our 3D street art workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned doodlers. Our pro artists guide you through every step, starting with basic spray techniques before moving onto the optical illusion secrets. You don't need to be 'good at drawing' to create something that looks incredible on a 3D plane. We focus on fun and helping you find your own creative flow.

What equipment is provided in the workshop?

We've got you covered! Graffitifun provides everything you need: high-quality low-pressure spray cans (easier to control), protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or designated wall space. Just wear some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, and bring your enthusiasm—we handle the rest of the logistics!

How long does a typical session last?

Most of our 3D graffiti sessions in Nitra last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a crash course in 3D perspective, sketching your design, and the final painting process. For larger corporate groups or festivals, we can adjust the timing to fit your schedule. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy experience that flies by because you're having so much fun!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We use high-quality, professional-grade spray paint and provide all necessary protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our instructors are experienced professionals who ensure a safe environment for all ages. We typically hold workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially equipped indoor spaces. We follow all local Nitra safety guidelines to ensure your peace of mind while you're getting creative.

What is the minimum age for participants?

The beauty of 3D street art is that it works for almost anyone! Our workshops are popular for kids' parties (ages 8+), school trips, and even professional team-building events. Because we tailor the complexity of the 3D illusions to the group's age and skill level, everyone from primary school students to corporate executives can enjoy the thrill of making art jump off the wall.

Can you accommodate large groups or corporate teams?

We are very flexible! Whether you are a small group of friends or a large company of 50+ people, we can make it happen. For very large groups, we bring in extra backup artists to ensure everyone gets personal guidance and support. We hate saying no, so just let us know your group size and we will tailor the Nitra experience to fit your needs perfectly.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

We understand that plans can change. That's why we offer a 'no upfront payment' policy. You can book your session with confidence knowing you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. If you need to reschedule or cancel, just give us a heads-up as early as possible so we can adjust our artists' schedules. We value trust and transparency with all our Nitra clients.

Step by step

Introduction & safety: We kick things off with a quick intro to the world of graffiti and a safety briefing to get everyone comfortable with the gear.
The 3D secret: Our artists reveal the 'anamorphosis' technique—the mathematical trick that makes flat drawings look like they are popping out at you.
Sketching the illusion: You'll grab some chalk and map out your 3D design on the surface, choosing your perspective point carefully.
Can control 101: Before hitting the final piece, you'll practice basic spray techniques like lines, dots, and fades on a practice board.
Outlining: Time to make it permanent! You'll trace your sketch with spray paint, setting the foundation for your masterpiece.
Adding depth & shadow: This is where the magic happens. We'll show you how to use highlights and drop shadows to create a realistic 3D effect.

Local culture

Nitra, the oldest city in Slovakia, is a stunning blend of ancient history and a thriving modern arts scene. While the Nitra Castle looks down from the hill, the streets below are becoming a canvas for a new generation of creatives. We love bringing our 3D workshops to this city because the contrast between the historic architecture and cutting-edge street art is simply electric. From the bustling atmosphere around Svätoplukovo námestie to the creative pockets of the Chrenová district, the energy here is perfect for unleashing your inner artist.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Nitra is often called the "Slovak Rome" because it's built on seven hills? That's seven different perspectives to inspire your next 3D masterpiece!

We take pride in contributing to the local culture, offering locals and visitors alike a chance to see the city through a different lens—literally! Our workshops are a fantastic way to engage with the urban landscape of Nitra in a way you never thought possible.
