Is the graffiti workshop safe for individuals with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our spray paints are selected for ease of use, and our professional artists provide constant supervision and guidance. We ensure the environment is well-ventilated and that every participant feels secure and comfortable before they even pick up a spray can. Your peace of mind is essential to us.

How do you adapt the workshop for different physical or cognitive abilities?

We believe art is for everyone, regardless of ability. Our workshops are designed to be highly flexible. Whether it's adjusting the physical setup for wheelchair access, using lighter cans for those with limited grip strength, or providing a sensory-friendly environment with fewer distractions, we tailor the experience to the unique requirements of your group. Just let us know your needs, and we will make it work perfectly.

How long does the workshop session usually last?

A typical special needs workshop in Murska Sobota lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This includes time for a safety briefing, an introduction to techniques, and plenty of hands-on painting time. We can also build in extra breaks or shorten the session if we feel the group's concentration or energy levels are dipping. We move at your pace, not ours!

What is the ideal group size for this type of event?

We recommend a minimum of 5 to 10 participants to create a great group atmosphere, but we can accommodate much larger groups too. For special needs sessions, we prefer smaller sub-groups per artist to ensure everyone receives the individual attention and support they deserve. If you have a very large group, we simply bring more artists to keep the experience personal and engaging.

What equipment is included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day! This includes professional-grade spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective clothing (suits, gloves, masks), and the 'canvas' (which could be a wall or individual boards). You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty, and bring plenty of creative energy!

What is your booking and cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, especially when coordinating for groups with special requirements. One of the best things about Graffitifun is that we don't require upfront payments. You can book your date with confidence, and payment is only handled after the workshop is completed. We also have backup artists ready to go, so we almost never have to cancel a session.

Can the workshop take place at our own location?

Definitely! While we have amazing locations we use, we are more than happy to come to your facility, school, or community centre in Murska Sobota or the Prekmurje region. As long as there is a suitable outdoor space or a very well-ventilated indoor area, we can bring the entire graffiti studio to you. This often helps participants feel more comfortable in a familiar environment.

Local culture

Murska Sobota is a city that breathes a unique blend of tradition and modern spirit. While it's famous for its stunning park and the Sobota Castle, there is a growing appreciation for contemporary urban art within the community. Our workshops tap into this local energy, providing a safe space for inclusive groups to add their own colourful stories to the city's cultural tapestry. We often find inspiration in the flat, expansive landscapes of the Prekmurje plains—the "Slovenian soul" is truly vibrant here!

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Prekmurje region has its own unique dialect? While we mostly speak through the universal language of art, we love picking up local phrases while we paint in the heart of Murska Sobota! 🎨
