Step by step

Intro to the culture: We start with a brief, high-energy history of graffiti and street art, explaining its evolution from subway tags to world-class gallery pieces.
Gear and safety briefing: You'll learn about different types of spray cans, pressures, and the essential safety protocols for using them in an educational setting.
Mastering the lines: Our pro artists show you how to control the spray. You'll practice dots, thin lines, and thick 'fats' to get a feel for the medium.
Lettering and style: We dive into the 'alphabet' of graffiti. You’ll learn how to construct 'throw-ups' and 'pieces' (masterpieces) using classic street art fonts.
The mural process: Together, we’ll sketch a large-scale concept, learning how to scale designs from a notebook to a massive wall.
Colour theory and filling: Discover the secrets of blending, fading, and highlighting using spray paint—techniques that are totally different from traditional brushwork.
Classroom management: We discuss the logistics of running a workshop for 20+ students, including how to distribute paint and manage clean-up.
Lesson planning: We provide you with ready-to-use lesson plans and curriculum ideas to integrate graffiti into your existing art syllabus.
Final masterpiece: The session ends with a collaborative mural where you apply everything you've learned on a grand scale!

Local culture

Poprad isn't just the gateway to the stunning High Tatras; it’s a city with a growing appreciation for modern, urban aesthetics. While the city is famous for its mountain views and historic squares, the local youth culture is increasingly looking towards street art as a way to express their identity. By bringing graffiti into your classroom here in the Prešov Region, you're tapping into a movement that resonates with the local 'Popradčania' youth.

Fun Fact: Did you know that legal graffiti walls are popping up across Slovakia to encourage young artists? In cities like Poprad, integrating this into schools helps prevent illegal 'bombing' by teaching kids the discipline and respect required for true street art.

Our workshops celebrate this local spirit, blending the raw energy of the street with the structured environment of the Slovak education system. We also offer similar creative sessions for festivals and kids parties across the region!
