Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialized FFP3 masks for every child. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated indoor spaces with proper extraction. Our Manchester artists are experts at supervising kids, ensuring they use the spray cans correctly while having a blast in a controlled, secure environment. Safety and fun go hand-in-hand here!

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

We recommend our Manchester kids parties for children aged 7 and up. At this age, they generally have the hand strength to operate the spray cans and the attention span to follow the artistic techniques. However, we can adapt our sessions for slightly younger groups with simplified designs. It’s all about making sure every child feels like a pro artist by the end of the day!

Will the kids get paint on their clothes?

Don't worry about the mess – we've got it covered! We provide full-body protective suits and gloves for all participants. While the suits are very effective, we always suggest that kids wear 'play clothes' and old trainers just in case a stray bit of paint finds its way onto a sleeve or shoe. Once they are suited up, they are ready to paint without stress!

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

We are prepared for the classic Manchester drizzle! If the weather turns, we often have access to covered outdoor areas or indoor studios where we can continue the fun safely. If the weather is truly extreme and we are outdoors, we will work with you to reschedule or find an alternative solution. The creativity never stops, rain or shine!

Do the children get to keep their artwork?

Each child gets to work on their own individual piece, usually on a high-quality wooden panel or canvas, which they get to take home! Additionally, the group often collaborates on a large shared 'mural' or 'birthday banner' for the birthday boy or girl. It’s a fantastic way to ensure everyone has a personal souvenir and a shared memory of the big day.

How long does a typical birthday workshop last?

A standard Manchester kids' graffiti party lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance: enough time to learn the basic 'tagging' and 'piece' techniques, practice their skills, and complete their final masterpiece without getting tired out. We keep the energy high from start to finish so there is never a dull moment!

Where in Manchester can the party take place?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you want to host the party at your own home (if you have a suitable garden or garage), a local park, or one of our partner creative spaces in Manchester city centre or the Northern Quarter, we can make it work. Just let us know your preferred location, and we will handle the logistical setup and safety checks.
