Is the graffiti workshop safe for all ages and abilities?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality FFP3 respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone clean and safe. Our professional artists lead a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We also use low-odour, professional-grade paints whenever possible. Whether you are hosting your event indoors with proper ventilation or outdoors in the Manchester rain, we ensure a secure environment for all participants.

Where in Manchester do these charity workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the workshop at a location of your choice in Manchester, or we can help you find a suitable creative space or 'legal wall'. We often set up at community centres, car parks, or even inside large halls using our specialized mobile plastic walls. Our team handles the entire set-up and clean-up, ensuring the venue remains exactly as we found it, minus the extra creative energy we bring!

How long does a typical charity graffiti session last?

We recommend styling your event between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your supporters enough time to learn the basic techniques, practice their 'tags', and then collaborate on a sizeable masterpiece. For larger fundraiser events, we can also run 'drop-in' style sessions where people contribute to a mural throughout the day. We’ll work with your schedule to ensure the timing fits your event flow perfectly.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Zero! That is the beauty of street art—it is for everyone. Our expert Manchester-based artists are masters at breaking down complex techniques into simple steps. We guide your guests from their very first line to a finished piece of art they can be proud of. It’s all about the experience, the community spirit, and supporting a great cause, not about being the next Banksy (though we might find one!).

How does the payment process work for charities?

No upfront payment is required! We believe in the quality of our service and the importance of your cause. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and payment is only handled after the workshop has been successfully completed. This makes it much easier for charities and community groups to manage their budgets without worrying about initial outlays or financial risks.

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

We can provide canvases for individuals to take home, or we can create a large collective mural on wood or heavy-duty plastic that can be displayed at your charity’s headquarters. Many fundraisers choose to auction off the finished pieces at the end of the night to raise even more money! It’s a fantastic way to have a physical reminder of the day and the impact your supporters have made.

Local culture

Manchester and street art go hand-in-hand. From the legendary murals of Stevenson Square to the hidden gems tucked away in Ancoats, this city breathes creativity. Our workshops tap into this rich heritage, giving your charity event an authentic "Manc" vibe that resonates with locals and visitors alike. We don't just teach you how to paint; we connect you with the urban pulse of the city. 🐝

Fun Fact: Did you know Manchester is home to the 'Out House' project? Since 2010, they've been transforming the Northern Quarter's public spaces with rotating street art, making the city a living, breathing gallery!

Whether you want to incorporate the iconic Manchester Bee or a contemporary geometric design, we tailor our sessions to celebrate the local culture while championing your specific charity mission. We love working in the Rainy City—mostly because the vibrant colours of our spray paint look even better against a classic grey Manchester sky!
