What kind of venue do we need for a Leeds graffiti fundraiser?

An outdoor or well-ventilated indoor space is ideal. In Leeds, we often work in community hubs, car parks, or school grounds. Don't worry if you don't have a space! We have access to several legal graffiti spots and creative studios across West Yorkshire where we can host your event. We'll handle the logistics of setting up protective flooring and plastic sheeting to keep the venue pristine.

Is the spray painting activity safe for everyone?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 masks, disposable gloves, and protective overalls for every participant. Our professional artists are trained in site safety and will give a full briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use low-solvent paints whenever possible to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all your charity supporters.

Are there age restrictions for participants?

Generally, we recommend our charity workshops for ages 6 and up. For younger children, we can provide 'street art' themed stations using paint pens and stencils which are a bit easier for smaller hands to manage. For teenagers and adults, regular spray cans are perfectly fine. It’s a brilliant way to get different generations working together for a great cause!

What happens if it rains on the day of our event?

Whatever the Yorkshire weather throws at us, we’ve got a backup plan! We use heavy-duty pop-up gazebos for light rain so the fun doesn't have to stop. For more extreme weather, we can usually pivot to an indoor venue or use large-scale canvases that can be worked on inside. We also have a pool of backup artists to ensure your event always goes ahead.

How exactly does this help us raise money?

One of the most popular ways to raise funds is by auctioning off the final canvases created during the session. Alternatively, you can sell tickets for the workshop itself. Others use the giant mural as a 'sponsor a section' piece where donors pay to have their name or logo integrated into the artwork. It’s a high-impact, visual way to prove your charity's reach!

How far in advance should we book our charity event?

We suggest booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially for weekend slots in Leeds. However, because we have a large team of professional artists across the UK, we can often accommodate last-minute requests. If you have a specific date for a charity gala or community day, get in touch today to lock it in!
