Is the graffiti workshop safe for all participants?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone's clothes clean and lungs safe. Our professional artists lead a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use low-odour paints where possible and ensure the site is well-ventilated, making it a safe, inclusive environment for supporters of all ages to get involved and contribute to your Sheffield charity cause.

Where in Sheffield can we host the charity event?

We can host your fundraiser just about anywhere! Whether you want to use a local community centre in Kelham Island, a school hall, or an outdoor space, we can make it work. We use mobile graffiti walls and protective floor coverings to ensure the venue remains spotless. If you don't have a venue in mind, we can suggest several partner locations across Sheffield that are perfect for getting creative and messy for a good cause.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our expert Sheffield artists will guide your guests through basic techniques, from 'can control' to shading and outlining. Most people are amazed by what they can create in just a couple of hours. The focus is on having fun, expressing your mission, and raising money, so no Da Vincis are required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to try something new!

What happens to the artwork created during the fundraiser?

The best part is that you keep the art! Most Sheffield charities choose to create a large collaborative mural on canvas or boards that can later be auctioned off or displayed in your headquarters. Alternatively, participants can create individual canvases to take home as a souvenir of their contribution. These pieces serve as a lasting legacy of the event and a visual reminder of the incredible support your organisation has in the Steel City.

What is the maximum group size for a Sheffield charity workshop?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are hosting an intimate gathering of 10 board members or a massive community festival with 200+ supporters, we can scale our team and materials to match. For very large groups, we often run a 'drop-in' style workshop where people can contribute a small part to a giant mural throughout the day. This keeps the energy high and ensures everyone gets a chance to leave their mark.

How long does a typical graffiti charity workshop last?

A typical session lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours, but we can tailor this to your event schedule. If you have a full day of fundraising activities planned, we can offer shorter 'taster' sessions or one long collaborative project. We'll work with your itinerary to ensure the graffiti workshop fits perfectly alongside your speeches, raffles, or other entertainment, providing a high-impact creative spark exactly when you need it.

How do we book and do we need to pay upfront?

Booking is simple and risk-free! You can start by using our online Cost Calculator to get a rough estimate, then contact us for a formal quote. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed. We also have backup artists on standby to ensure your event never gets cancelled. It’s all about making your Sheffield fundraising day as stress-free and successful as possible.

Massive Social Media Appeal: People love sharing vibrant, creative photos—perfect for boosting your charity's online presence during the event! 📸
Inclusive for Everyone: From kids to grandparents, graffiti is a great equaliser where everyone can contribute to the final masterpiece. ✨
Auctionable Artwork: The finished mural or canvases can be auctioned off at the end of the night to raise even more funds. 🏆
Stress-Free Planning: We handle the setup, the teaching, and the cleanup, so you can focus on your donors and your mission. 💪
Unique Branding: We can incorporate your charity's logo and messaging directly into the artwork for maximum impact. 🔥
No Risk Booking: With our "pay after the workshop" policy, your budget is always safe with us. 🎤

Step by step

Consultation & Vision: We start by chatting about your Sheffield charity’s mission and what you want to achieve with the event.
Design Phase: Our artists create a custom sketch that incorporates your logo, charity colours, or a specific fundraising theme.
Site Setup: On the day, we arrive early to set up mobile walls, floor protection, and all the gear—turning your venue into a street art studio.
Safety & Basics: We kit everyone out in protective gear and give a quick, high-energy demo on how to use the spray cans properly.
The First Layer: Participants start filling in the large shapes of the mural under the guidance of our professional street artists.
Adding Detail: As the workshop progresses, we teach more advanced techniques like fading, highlighting, and sharp outlining.
The Big Reveal: We add the finishing professional touches to ensure the final piece looks spectacular and ready for display or auction.
Cleanup: We pack everything away, leaving the venue exactly as we found it—except for your shiny new masterpiece!
