How long does a typical university graffiti workshop last?

Most of our university workshops in Braga last between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for a solid introduction to the history of street art, a safety briefing, practice sessions on plastic film or boards, and the final creation of a large-scale mural. If you have a tighter schedule for a specific campus event, we can certainly adapt the timing to fit your needs.

Do students need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to those with an artistic background. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and lettering. By the end of the session, even those who thought they weren't 'creative' are usually amazed by the high-quality mural they’ve helped create together on campus.

What safety gear is provided during the workshop?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and produce less fumes. All sessions are led by experienced professionals who ensure that the equipment is used correctly and that the environment remains safe for all participants and bystanders.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor event?

Braga's weather is usually lovely, but we always have a plan B. If the weather turns, we can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or use large indoor spaces with high ceilings and proper ventilation. We also have backup artists available on our team to ensure your event goes ahead even if there are unforeseen staff changes. You are in safe hands!

Where in Braga do these workshops usually take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at a specific location on your university campus, a public legal wall in Braga, or a private venue that we arrange. Many student unions prefer to have the session right in the heart of the campus to create a vibrant, visible atmosphere. Just let us know your preference and we will make it happen.

How does the payment process work for university groups?

We believe in the quality of our service, which is why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront payments or deposits when booking. We will send the invoice once the session is successfully completed and your students are happy with their street art experience. It’s all about trust and professional service.

Can we choose a specific theme for our graffiti mural?

Yes, we do! Our workshop is a great addition to student integration weeks, campus festivals, or sports days. We can even tailor the mural's theme to reflect the university's values, a specific academic department, or a social cause the student union is supporting. It's a fantastic way to leave a lasting (or temporary) artistic mark on the Braga student scene.

Local culture

Braga is a city where ancient tradition meets a thriving student population, largely thanks to the University of Minho. This unique blend makes it a fascinating place for street art to evolve. While the city is famous for its Baroque churches and the Bom Jesus do Monte, there is a pulse of modern creativity growing in its urban corners. From the creative hubs around Gualtar to the hidden spots near the city centre, street art is becoming a way for the youth of Braga to speak their minds. Our workshops tap into this local energy, allowing students to contribute to the city's evolving visual narrative. We celebrate the contrast between Braga's historical roots and its future-facing academic community, encouraging participants to draw inspiration from the city's iconic architecture and its lively, modern atmosphere.

Pricing
