Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone from absolute beginners to seasoned creators. Your university group will be led by a professional street artist who breaks down the process into easy, manageable steps. We focus on technique, safety, and most importantly, having a blast. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can create a professional-looking piece of art with just a bit of guidance and a spray can.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a successful session. This includes premium spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or practice walls and all necessary sketching materials. All you need to bring is your energy, some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on, and your creative ideas!

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our priority. We use high-quality, low-pressure spray cans that are easier to control. Every participant is issued a protective mask to prevent inhaling fumes, along with gloves and body protection. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring everyone knows how to handle the equipment properly. We always work in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces to ensure a fresh environment.

How long does a typical session last?

Standard university sessions usually last between 2 to 3 hours. This allows enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the completion of a final group project or individual canvas. If you have a specific schedule to meet for a student union event or a campus festival, we can definitely adjust the timing to fit your itinerary perfectly.

Can we book this for a large student society or team-building event?

Absolutely! Graffiti is a fantastic team-building activity. We often organise 'battle' formats or collaborative mural projects where students must work together to create a cohesive piece of art. This encourages communication, creative problem-solving, and collective decision-making. It’s a brilliant way for freshers to bond or for student societies to strengthen their connections while doing something totally unique and memorable.

Where in Setubal do the workshops take place?

We are flexible! We can host the workshop at a vibrant local spot in Setubal to give you that authentic street art vibe, or we can often bring the experience directly to your campus if there is a suitable outdoor space. We handle all the logistics and setup, ensuring that the area is protected and left clean. Just let us know your preference when booking.

How do we book and what are the payment terms?

Booking is simple and risk-free. You can request a quote via our website or use our Cost Calculator for an instant estimate. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. We also have backup artists on standby for every booking, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations ruining your student event.

Local culture

Setubal isn't just about incredible seafood and the Sado estuary; it’s a city with an ever-growing appreciation for urban expression. From the murals found near the Avenida Luísa Todi to the hidden gems in the old town, street art is becoming part of the city’s modern DNA. Our workshops tap into this local energy, drawing inspiration from the blue hues of the Atlantic and the grit of the industrial docks.

Fun Fact: Setubal is home to several large-scale murals by renowned Portuguese artists, proving that the bridge between traditional Portuguese culture and modern street art is alive and well right here in our city! 🎨
