Do the participants need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! Our youth projects in Tetouan are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists start with the basics, from how to hold the spray can to mastering simple lines and shapes. We provide a safe, supportive environment where everyone can feel confident expressing themselves, regardless of their previous artistic experience or skill level.🎨

Is the workshop safe for teenagers and young adults?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas, and we use professional-grade spray paint. Our artists are experienced in supervising youth groups and ensure that all equipment is used correctly and responsibly throughout the session.🛡️

Where do the youth projects take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the project at your youth centre, school, or a designated local outdoor space in Tetouan. If you don't have a venue, we can help source a suitable legal graffiti wall or provide mobile wooden canvases that can be set up almost anywhere. We bring the art studio directly to you!

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A typical youth project session lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a final collaborative masterpiece. For larger community projects or mural paintings, we can also arrange multi-day programmes to allow for more detailed work and deeper skill development.⏱️

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! This includes premium spray paint in a huge range of colours, various 'caps' (nozzles) for different effects, protective clothing, and the painting surface (whether that’s a wall or large canvases). You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear clothes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on just in case!

What are the educational benefits for the youth?

Graffiti is a fantastic tool for youth development. It encourages teamwork, boosts self-esteem, and provides a healthy outlet for emotional expression. Beyond the art, participants learn about planning, persistence, and community pride. It’s a great way to transform 'blank spaces' into something the whole neighbourhood in Tetouan can be proud of.🌟

How do we book a youth project in Tetouan?

Booking is simple! Just use our online cost calculator for a quick estimate, or contact us directly with your group size and preferred dates. We don't require upfront payments—you pay after the workshop is completed. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead no matter what!✨

The experience

Why choose a graffiti project for your youth group? It’s more than just paint on a wall—it’s a transformative experience that builds skills for life. Here’s why our workshops are a hit in Tetouan:

Epic Team Building: Working on a large-scale mural requires communication and collaboration like nothing else! 🤝
Confidence Boost: Seeing a massive piece of art completed from scratch gives young people a huge sense of achievement. 🏆
Positive Expression: We redirect "tagging" energy into constructive, beautiful, and legal public art.
Professional Guidance: Learn from real street artists who live and breathe the culture, ensuring high-quality results. 🎤
Zero Risk Booking: With no upfront payment and a 100% satisfaction guarantee, your project is in safe hands.
All-Inclusive Fun: We handle the mess and the gear; you just bring the energy! ✨

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: We start with a high-energy intro to street art culture and a vital safety briefing on how to use the gear.
Sketching Your Vision: Participants grab paper and pencils to brainstorm ideas and sketch out their tags or collective mural concepts.
The First Spray: Under expert guidance, everyone gets to feel the pressure of the spray can and learn basic strokes on a practice wall.
Technique Masterclass: Our artists demonstrate 'fading', 'outlining', and 'highlights' to give the artwork that professional 3D pop.
The Big Piece: The group moves to the main canvas or wall to begin layering the background colours of their collaborative project.
Adding Character: This is where the details come in! We add individual touches, characters, and sharp outlines to the master design.
Polishing & Refinement: Our pros help the youth clean up the edges and add 'force fields' (outer glows) to make the art stand out.
The Reveal & Photoshoot: We step back to admire the work, take epic group photos, and discuss the story behind the creation.
Wrap Up: A quick debrief on the skills learned and a tidy-up of the area, leaving only the beautiful art behind!

Good to know

Duration: Usually 1.5 to 3 hours, but we can do full-day or multi-day community murals! ⏱️

Local culture

Tetouan, often called the 'White Pigeon', is a city of incredible artistic heritage. By introducing a graffiti workshop in Tetouan, we are bridging the gap between the city’s traditional Andalusian-Moorish aesthetics and modern urban expression. The white walls of the city provide a stunning backdrop for the pops of colour that our youth groups create!

Fun Fact: Did you know Tetouan is home to the National Institute of Fine Arts? The city has a deep soul for painting, making it the perfect place for young people to explore new-age street art styles! 🏛️

Our projects often draw inspiration from the intricate patterns found in the local architecture, encouraging participants to blend their cultural roots with contemporary graffiti techniques. It’s a fantastic way to keep the city’s artistic reputation thriving in the 21st century.
