Frequently asked questions

Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our Tamale networking events are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional graffiti artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering cool fading techniques. The goal is to have fun, break the ice, and engage with your peers in a way that traditional mixers just don't allow. We provide all the guidance you need to feel like a pro.

What should I wear to the graffiti networking session?

We provide high-quality protective gear for all participants, including hooded suits, masks, and gloves. While our paint is professional-grade and meant to stay on the canvas, these suits do a great job of protecting your clothes. That being said, we always recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on, just to be safe while you're creating your masterpiece.

How long does the networking event typically last?

Standard sessions usually last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This includes an introduction to graffiti history, safety briefings, technique practice, and the final collaborative live-painting session. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy high and giving everyone enough time to mask out their designs and connect with other attendees without the event feeling rushed or overly long. Ready for a creative afternoon?

What safety measures are in place during the workshop?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, professional spray paints and provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including high-quality masks and gloves. Our instructors are experienced in managing groups and ensuring that the workspace remains safe and organised. Weather permitting, we prefer well-ventilated or outdoor spaces in Tamale to ensure the best possible environment for your team to breathe easy and focus on the fun.

Where in Tamale do these networking events take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the event at various local partner venues across Tamale, or if you have a specific office space or private outdoor area in mind, we can bring the entire setup to you. From mobile plastic walls to canvases and drop cloths, we make sure the location is protected and transformed into a temporary street art studio. Just let us know your preference when you get in touch.

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

We offer a 'No Stress' booking policy. Unlike many other providers, you don't need to pay everything upfront. You can secure your date and pay after the workshop is completed to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the experience. Additionally, we always have backup artists on standby, so your event in Tamale will never be cancelled due to a last-minute artist emergency. We’ve got your back!

Can we customise the theme to match our company branding?

Definitely! We love helping brands stand out. We can incorporate your company colours, logos, or specific themes into the graffiti session. Whether you want to create a giant collaborative mural that represents your company's mission or individual canvases that follow a specific brand aesthetic, our artists will work with you during the planning phase to make sure the event aligns perfectly with your corporate identity and networking goals.
