Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have any drawing or painting experience?

No artistic talent is required at all! Our Bern onboarding workshop is designed specifically for beginners. Our professional graffiti artists will guide you through every stage, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering basic strokes and fills. We focus on the fun and the collaborative process rather than individual perfection, ensuring everyone leaves feeling like a creative pro.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a successful session in Bern. This includes high-quality spray paint in a vast array of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and respiratory masks for safety. We also provide the canvas or wall space, training materials, and professional guidance. You just need to show up wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty.

How long does a typical onboarding workshop last?

A standard graffiti onboarding workshop typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows for a comprehensive introduction to the history of street art, a safety briefing, technique practice, and the completion of a large-scale collective masterpiece. If you have specific time constraints for your event in Bern, we can often adjust the schedule to fit your needs perfectly.

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide professional-grade protective gear, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one inhales fumes. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially designated legal graffiti zones in Bern. Our instructors are highly experienced and will supervise the group constantly to ensure all tools and paints are used safely and responsibly.

Can the workshop take place at our own location in Bern?

Absolutely! While we have amazing partner locations across Bern, we can also bring the workshop to your office, a local park, or a specific event venue. As long as there is adequate ventilation and we have permission to use the space (or use our mobile graffiti walls), our artists are happy to set up the creative experience wherever it suits your team best.

What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that plans can change. One of the unique benefits of booking with Graffitifun is our 'no upfront payment' policy. You pay only after the workshop has been successfully completed. Additionally, we have a network of backup artists available, so in the rare event your lead artist is unavailable, your event in Bern will still go ahead as planned.
