Why choose us in Geneva?
Why choose a graffiti workshop for your primary school students in Geneva? It’s more than just painting walls—it’s about empowering kids to express themselves! 🚀
- Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant, colourful artwork they created themselves gives children a massive sense of achievement. 💪
- Encourages teamwork: Our group mural projects teach kids how to collaborate and coordinate their creative ideas.
- Safe & professional: We use child-friendly materials and have years of experience managing school groups with a focus on safety.
- Physical & fun: It gets students out of the classroom and moving, engaging their motor skills in a totally new way. 🏃♂️
- No stress booking: With no upfront payment and backup artists available, we make the teacher's job easy!
How it works
- Intro and safety talk: Our pro artist meets the class and explains the plan. We cover the history of graffiti and, most importantly, how to use the gear safely! 🎨
- Gear up: Every student gets kitted out in protective overalls, gloves and a mask. Safety first, style second!
- Sketching the ideas: Before touching a spray can, the kids grab markers and paper to plan their tags and characters. ✍️
- First lines: We head to the canvases. The artist demonstrates 'can control'—how to hold the spray can and how distance affects the line.
- Filling in: The students start filling their shapes with vibrant colours. This is where the magic happens and the artwork really pops!
- Outlining and details: Time to add those sharp outlines and 'highs' (white highlights) that make graffiti look professional. ✨
- The big reveal: We take a group photo with the finished masterpieces. The kids get to feel like real street art legends! 🏆
- Clean up: We pack up all the materials and ensure the area is tidy. Students can often keep their individual canvases to decorate the classroom!

Frequently asked questions
Is the spray paint safe for primary school children?
Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality protective gear, including overalls, gloves and specialized masks. We use water-based spray paints where possible for younger students, which have fewer fumes. Furthermore, our professional artists are trained to manage groups of children, ensuring they follow safety protocols while having a blast. We always recommend conducting the workshop in a well-ventilated outdoor area or a large hall with open doors.
Can the workshop take place at our school premises?
Absolutely! While we love bringing the workshop to your school grounds in Geneva, we can also arrange for professional street art locations or local legal walls if preferred. If we come to your school, we take care of all the floor and wall protection to ensure your premises remain spotless. All we need is a bit of space and enthusiastic students ready to get creative!
How long does a typical workshop last?
Our primary school workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory talk, the sketching phase and the actual spray painting. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for keeping younger children engaged and excited without them getting tired. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your school’s standard lesson blocks or a special afternoon event.
What is the minimum age for children to participate?
We recommend a minimum age of 6 for our graffiti workshops. This ensures the children have enough hand strength to press the spray caps and the focus to follow instructions. For the very little ones, we have specialized 'skinny caps' that are much easier to press, making the experience accessible and frustration-free for everyone in the primary school age bracket.
What happens if the workshop artist is unavailable?
We’ve got you covered! We have a large team of professional artists across Switzerland, which means we always have backup artists ready to step in. It is extremely rare for us to cancel a booking. If an artist falls ill, another pro will be there to ensure your school event goes ahead exactly as planned. You can book with complete peace of mind!
Do we need to provide any materials?
Not at all! We provide everything required for a successful street art day. This includes the spray cans, various nozzles (caps), protective clothing, masks, gloves and the canvases or wooden boards the children will paint on. You just need to make sure the kids are wearing old clothes and shoes, just in case a stray drop of paint finds its way past the overalls!
How do we handle the payment for the workshop?
We understand that school budgets and planning can be complex. That’s why we offer a 'no upfront payment' policy. You don't have to pay a deposit to secure your date. Once the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience, we will send over the invoice for payment. It’s all about trust and making the process as easy as possible for you.
