Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for people with special needs?

Safety is our top priority for every workshop in Uppsala. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective suits, and gloves to all participants. Our professional artists are trained to supervise groups with diverse needs, ensuring that everyone uses the spray cans correctly and stays in a well-ventilated, secure environment. We tailor the pace of the session to ensure no one feels rushed or overwhelmed while handling the equipment.

Can you accommodate different types of disabilities?

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Whether participants have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, or sensory sensitivities, we adapt our teaching methods to suit them. We can use larger nozzles for easier spraying, provide seating throughout the session, and choose quieter locations if noise is a concern. Our goal is to make sure every individual in Uppsala feels empowered to create art.

Do participants need to have any prior art skills?

No prior artistic experience is needed at all! Our Uppsala instructors are experts at breaking down the graffiti process into simple, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and shapes, ensuring everyone feels confident before moving on to more complex designs. It is all about the joy of movement and colour, rather than technical perfection. Everyone leaves with an artwork they can be proud of.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

For our special needs programs in Uppsala, we typically suggest sessions lasting between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is usually perfect for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible; if your group needs a shorter session with more breaks, or a longer, more relaxed pace, we can easily customise the schedule to fit your specific requirements.

What equipment is included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day! This includes a wide variety of premium spray paint colours, protective gear (suits, gloves, masks), and the canvases or surfaces we will be painting on. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty. We handle all the setup and the messy cleanup afterwards.

Do we have to pay in advance for the booking?

We believe in a stress-free booking process for our Uppsala clients. You do not need to make any upfront payments to secure your date. Simply contact us to discuss your needs and book the session. Payment is only required after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. This ensures you can book with total confidence and peace of mind.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

If the weather in Uppsala isn't cooperating, we have several options. We can often move the workshop to a sheltered or indoor location that is well-ventilated and accessible. Alternatively, we can reschedule the session to a better day at no extra cost. We always keep a close eye on the forecast and stay in touch with you to ensure the workshop goes ahead smoothly.
