How it works

  1. Pick your date: Check your school calendar and contact us with your preferred dates and group size.
  2. Customise the theme: Tell us if you want the art to reflect a specific school value, a subject, or just pure creative freedom.
  3. Artist match: We pair your class with a professional graffiti artist who specialises in educational workshops.
  4. Safety briefing: We start the day with a fun intro on street art history and a full safety rundown.
  5. First lines: Students grab their cans and learn basic techniques like dots, lines, and simple shapes on practice surfaces.
  6. The big project: Moving on to the main event! Students work on their individual canvases or a giant collective mural.
  7. Refining details: Our artists help the students add highlights, shadows, and those all-important outlines to make the art pop.
  8. The big reveal: We finish with a group photo and a mini-gallery walk to celebrate everyone's hard work.
  9. Easy cleanup: We handle the pack-down and leave your school site exactly as we found it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for school-aged children?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and professional masks for every student. Our spray paints are low-odour and we always work in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our professional artists are trained to supervise school groups, ensuring that the only thing getting messy is the canvas, not the kids or the school property!

How long does a typical school workshop last?

A standard school workshop in Maardu usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety demo, practice sessions, and the creation of the final masterpiece. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your school's specific timetable or double-period slots.

Where in Maardu do the workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the workshop at your school grounds (outdoors is usually best), a local community space in Maardu, or one of our dedicated partner locations. If you have a plain wall we are allowed to paint, great! If not, we bring large boards or canvases so the school stays clean and tidy.

What is the minimum age for participants?

Our school workshops are generally designed for students aged 10 and up, as handling spray cans requires a certain level of motor skills and strength. However, for younger primary school groups, we offer modified sessions using paint markers or stencils so no one misses out on the creative fun. Just let us know the age group!

Do students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-mentors guide the students through every step, from holding the can correctly to mastering 'fades' and 'outlines'. You’ll be amazed at the high-quality art the students can produce by the end of the session, regardless of their prior drawing skills.

What happens to the artwork after the workshop?

The final artwork is yours to keep! If we work on individual canvases, each student takes their masterpiece home. If the class creates a large collaborative mural on boards, it makes for an incredible permanent decoration for the school hallways, playground, or art room. It’s a great way to leave a lasting creative legacy!

How much does a school graffiti workshop cost?

We know school budgets can be tight. Our prices range from €20 to €40 per student, depending on the group size and the materials used. We don't require upfront payments—you pay after the workshop is completed. For an exact figure tailored to your school's needs, just hit the 'Request a Quote' button!
