Frequently asked questions

Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our Kranj graffiti workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Most students have never held a spray can before they arrive. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and pressure control before moving on to more complex techniques. We focus on fun and expression, so there is zero pressure to be a 'pro' on day one.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for the perfect student event. This includes a wide range of high-quality spray cans in various colours, protective gloves, masks, and coveralls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or designated wall space in Kranj. All you need to bring is your creativity, some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, and your university spirit!

How long does a typical university session last?

Standard university workshops in Kranj typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your group enough time to learn the safety basics, practice some techniques, and complete a full-scale collaborative mural or individual pieces. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your society's schedule or your university's Freshers' Week programme. Just let us know your timeframe when booking!

Is it safe to use spray paint for a large group?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary protective gear, including FFP2 masks and gloves. Our instructors are professional artists who supervise the entire session to ensure everyone is using the equipment correctly. We usually host our Kranj workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated creative spaces to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all students.

Can we host the workshop on our university campus?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at various cool locations across Kranj, or if your university has a suitable outdoor space or courtyard, we can often bring the workshop directly to your campus. We also work with local creative hubs. During the booking process, we’ll discuss the best location options to make sure it's convenient for your student group to attend.

Do we have to pay in advance?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'no stress' booking policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront! You can book your date and confirm the details, and then pay after the workshop has successfully taken place. This makes it much easier for student unions or society treasurers to manage their budgets without worrying about advanced bank transfers or out-of-pocket expenses.

How much does a university graffiti workshop cost?

The cost varies depending on the number of students participating and the specific setup (e.g., individual canvases vs. a large collective mural). In Kranj, prices generally range between €20 and €45 per person. We love supporting student initiatives and university societies, so we always recommend requesting a custom quote. This way, we can give you the best possible price for your specific group size and requirements.
