Do I need to have any artistic experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our workshop is designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned doodlers. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics of perspective and can control, ensuring you feel confident throughout the process. Most people are surprised by how quickly they can create something that looks three-dimensional and impressive on the wall!

How long does a typical 3D street art workshop last?

The duration depends on your group size and the complexity of the design, but most 3D street art sessions in Helsingborg last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, technique tutorials, sketching, and the final painting phase where your masterpiece really comes to life under the Swedish sun.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes high-quality spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and high-spec respiratory masks. We also provide the professional surfaces or canvases we'll be painting on. Just bring your creativity and wear some old shoes!

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Helsingborg is beautiful, but the weather can be unpredictable. If it rains, we usually move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor location to keep everyone dry. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we are very flexible with rescheduling or relocating to ensure your event goes ahead without a hitch.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide professional-grade protective gear. Our instructors are experienced at managing groups safely and will give a full briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We ensure the environment is well-ventilated and that everyone follows our simple safety rules.

How does this fit into the Helsingborg street art scene?

Helsingborg has a vibrant urban culture, and we love it here! While we use designated workshop areas, we always respect our surroundings. We teach the difference between commissioned street art and illegal graffiti, focusing on the creative and technical skill of 3D muralism. It’s about adding beauty and perspective to the city’s creative landscape.

How much does a 3D street art session cost?

Our pricing usually ranges from 300 kr to 650 kr per person, depending on how many people are in your group and the specific setup you require. We don't ask for any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is complete and you're happy with the results. Request a custom quote for your specific group!

Step by step

Intro and safety: We kick things off with a quick intro to the world of 3D street art and get everyone geared up in protective kits.
The 3D secret: Our artists reveal the "anamorphic" secrets—how to draw shapes that look like they are popping out of the ground.
Sketching the vision: You'll start by sketching your design on paper, planning your shadows and highlights for maximum depth.
Can control 101: Learn how to handle the spray can, from making thin lines to soft gradients and fills.
Outline and blocking: We move to the wall or canvas to block in the primary shapes of your 3D masterpiece.
Adding the depth: This is the magic part! We've shown you where to place shadows and "drop shadows" to create that 3D illusion.
Detailing and highlights: Add the final "pop" using white highlights and sharp outlines to make the art jump forward.
The photo op: We find the perfect angle (the "sweet spot") to take photos that make your art look incredibly 3D.
Feedback and wrap-up: We admire the collective gallery and finish off with a group photo of the Helsingborg crew!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Helsingborg is a city where history meets high-modernity, from the medieval Kärnan tower to the sleek architecture of North Harbour. This contrast makes it a fantastic backdrop for cutting-edge street art. Many don't realise that Helsingborg has a growing pulse for urban culture, often influenced by the nearby creative hubs of Malmö and Copenhagen. Our workshops tap into this coastal energy, offering a fresh way to experience the city's artistic side.

Fun fact: Did you know Helsingborg is known as the "Pearl of the Sound"? While most people look at the view of Denmark, we’re looking at the walls, ready to turn them into 3D optical illusions! 🎨

Whether we are setting up near the bustling waterfront or in one of the city's creative pockets, the atmosphere in Helsingborg is always inspiring for a day of painting. Join the local movement and see the city through a whole new perspective!
