Do we need any previous art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most university students who join our Helsingborg workshops have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, from safety and nozzle control to creating clean lines and fades. We provide a supportive, high-energy environment where everyone can feel like a pro by the end of the session. It's all about the experience and having a blast with your mates!

What should we wear and will we get messy?

We provide all the gear you need to stay clean, including high-quality overalls, gloves, and professional FFP3 masks for protection against fumes. While we take every precaution to keep your clothes paint-free, we always recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny 'artistic' speck on just in case. Street art is messy fun, but we've got you covered!

How long does a typical workshop session last?

Our standard university workshops in Helsingborg typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives the group plenty of time for the initial briefing, practicing techniques on the 'practice wall', and then collaborating on a final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or a tight slot between lectures, just let us know and we can tailor the timing to fit!

Where do the workshops take place in Helsingborg?

We are incredibly flexible. We can host the workshop at one of our dedicated legal graffiti spots in or around Helsingborg, or we can bring the entire setup to your university campus! If we come to you, we use mobile wooden walls and protective floor coverings to ensure the campus stays clean while we create our temporary art gallery.

Do we have to pay in advance to secure our booking?

Yes! Unlike many other providers, we don't ask for a deposit or upfront payment. You can book your date with total peace of mind and pay only after the workshop is completed. We believe in the quality of our service and want the booking process to be as stress-free as possible for student unions and societies.

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone?

Safety is our number one priority. We use professional-grade spray paint and provide top-tier masks and protective gear. Our instructors are experienced professionals who ensure everyone follows safety protocols. If we're working outdoors, we also keep an eye on the Swedish weather to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.

Outline & Fill: Start the main artwork by blocking out shapes and filling them with vibrant, professional-grade colours.
The Art of Fading: Our artists show you how to blend colours and create those iconic street art gradients and shadows.
Cutting In: Use a 'cutting' technique to sharpen those edges and make the design pop against the background.

Local culture

Helsingborg is a city that bridges history with a modern, edgy vibe—much like the street art we create! From the historic Kärnan tower to the bustling campus of Lund University (Campus Helsingborg), this city is alive with youthful energy. While Helsingborg has a clean and scenic waterfront, the local street art scene is quietly bubbling away in creative pockets. We love bringing this urban culture directly to the students here, acknowledging the city's unique position as the gateway to Europe.

Fun Fact: Did you know Helsingborg is just a 20-minute ferry ride from Denmark? This international cross-pollination makes the local art scene incredibly diverse and open to new, bold ideas!

Whether we are setting up near the Gröningen area or right in the heart of the student district, we make sure our workshops capture that coastal Helsingborg spirit. It's about more than just paint; it's about celebrating the local student community in one of Sweden's most vibrant cities.

Pricing

Our university workshops are designed to be budget-friendly for student groups while providing a premium experience. Prices typically range from 300 kr to 650 kr per person, depending on the size of your group and the complexity of the setup.

The best part? No upfront payment is required! You only pay after you've finished your masterpiece and had a fantastic time. We also offer a Cost Calculator on our site to give you a quick estimate, or you can use our Workshop Quiz to find the perfect fit for your society's budget.
