Do I need to be an artist to join the workshop?

Absolutely! Our 3D street art workshops in Narva are designed for complete beginners. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics of spray painting, perspective, and shading. You don't need any prior drawing skills to create something that looks amazing. We focus on making sure everyone feels confident and has a blast while learning this incredible new urban skill.

What should I wear for the graffiti session?

We recommend wearing 'graffiti-ready' clothes—things you don't mind getting a little paint on! While we provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and masks, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto shoes or sleeves. Comfortable trainers are a must since you’ll be on your feet, moving around your masterpiece to get those 3D angles just right!

How long does the 3D street art experience last?

Most of our Narva workshops last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a crash course in 3D techniques, and plenty of hands-on painting time. If you’re booking for a large group or a special event, we can adjust the duration to fit your schedule perfectly. It’s the perfect length for a high-energy creative breakout!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. we provide professional-grade FFP2 or FFP3 masks to protect you from fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. We choose our painting locations in Narva carefully to ensure good ventilation. Our artists are experienced professionals who oversee every step, ensuring a safe, controlled, and super-fun environment for creators of all ages.

Can you bring the workshop to our specific location?

Yes! We can host workshops at various cool locations across Narva. If you have a specific venue in mind—like a school playground, a corporate car park, or a festival ground—we can usually make it work, provided we have the right permissions and ventilation. If not, we have several 'graff-friendly' spots ready for us to use!

What happens if it rains on the day?

Rain doesn't have to stop the art! If the weather turns 'classic Estonian', we often have indoor backup options or can use sheltered outdoor spaces. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we almost never cancel. We’ll work with you to ensure your 3D street art experience goes ahead, come rain or shine!

How do you actually make the art look 3D?

The stunning 3D effect comes from a combination of forced perspective and clever shading. During the workshop, we show you how to use 'anamorphic' techniques—painting an edge or a shadow in a specific way so that when you stand at a certain 'sweet spot,' the art looks like it's jumping right off the wall or floor!

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: We kick things off with a quick intro to the tools and safety gear. You'll get your mask, gloves, and overalls on—looking like a pro before you even touch a can! 🛡️
The 3D Concept: Our artist explains the secret of perspective. You'll learn how to sketch a design that 'tricks' the eye into seeing depth and volume on a flat surface.
Can Control 101: Practice your first lines. You'll learn how to handle the pressure, swap nozzles (caps) for different effects, and get comfortable with the spray can flow.
Outline Your Masterpiece: Time to hit the wall or canvas! You'll sketch out the primary 3D shapes under the watchful eye of our street art experts. ✍️
Adding Volume & Shading: This is where the magic happens. We'll show you how to use 'gradients' and 'drop shadows' to make your graffiti look like it's floating or popping out.
The 'Sweet Spot' Alignment: We'll help you refine the angles so that your art looks perfect from the camera's perspective. It's all about that final optical illusion!
Final Highlights: Add those 'power outlines' and highlights that make the 3D effect truly scream. This is the finishing touch that brings it all together.
The Big Reveal & Gallery: We step back, take photos from the magic angle, and admire the collective work of the group. You won't believe what you've created! 📸

Local culture

Narva is a city of incredible contrasts, where the medieval towers of the Hermann Castle face off against the Ivangorod Fortress across the river. This unique atmospheric tension makes it a breeding ground for powerful visual storytelling. While the city is famous for its history, the modern Narva scene is increasingly embracing the colourful, transformative power of street art to revitalise its industrial spaces and Soviet-era architecture.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Narva is the easternmost point of the EU? Painting here literally means you're creating art at the edge of the Union, adding a whole new level of 'cool' to your 3D creations! 🇪🇪

Our workshops tap into this local energy, often taking place in areas that showcase Narva's urban evolution. We love seeing how the local "Narvakas" spirit blends with the vibrant colours of contemporary graffiti. Want to see more art in Estonia? Check out our sessions in Tallinn, Tartu, Parnu, or Kohtla-Jarve!
