The experience

  • Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant mural come to life gives students a massive sense of achievement. 🏆
  • Encourages teamwork: Students must collaborate to ensure their individual pieces work together as one big mural. 🤝
  • Total inclusivity: You don't need to be "good at drawing" to create amazing graffiti; it's a level playing field for everyone. ✨
  • Stress relief: Spraying paint is a fantastic physical and creative outlet for teenagers facing exam pressure. 💪
  • Professional guidance: Learn from real street artists who live and breathe this culture every day. 🎤
  • Safe and clean: We provide all protective gear, ensuring students stay clean while the walls get colourful. 🎨

Step by step

  1. Intro and safety briefing: We start by introducing our pro artists and explaining the safety rules, including how to wear the masks and gear properly.
  2. The art of the tag: Students learn the history of graffiti and the difference between tags, throw-ups, and pieces.
  3. Design and sketching: Everyone grabs a marker and paper to sketch out their ideas, focusing on letter structure and flow.
  4. Can control basics: Before hitting the main wall, students practice basic lines, dots, and fades on a practice surface.
  5. First layers: The real fun begins! Students start "filling in" the large blocks of their design with their chosen colours.
  6. Outlining and highlights: We teach the trickier skills of adding sharp outlines and "shines" to make the art pop off the wall.
  7. The final "cut-back": Using background colours to clean up edges, giving the final piece a professional, polished look.
  8. Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate the hard work with a group shot in front of the finished masterpiece before we pack everything away.

Local culture

Street art in Narva

Narva is a city where history meets the modern world, and its unique atmosphere makes it the perfect backdrop for street art. From the imposing walls of the Hermann Castle to the industrial vibes of the Kreenholm district, Narva has a visual language all its own. We love bringing our workshops here because the students have a unique perspective, often blending Estonian and international influences into their designs.

Fun fact: Did you know that Narva is the easternmost point of the European Union? This makes your school's graffiti some of the most "easterly" street art in the EU, literally marking the edge of a continent with your creativity!

Whether we're setting up in a school courtyard or a local community space, we aim to channel Narva's resilient and creative spirit into every mural we help your students create.
