The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your students in Kuressaare? It’s more than just painting—it’s about empowerment and teamwork! 🔥

  • Boosts confidence: Seeing a massive piece of art completed in just a couple of hours gives students a huge sense of achievement. 🏆
  • Encourages collaboration: Creating a mural requires students to talk, plan, and work together on a large scale. 🤝
  • Zero pressure: Unlike traditional art, there are no 'mistakes' in graffiti, only 'style choices'—ideal for students who feel intimidated by drawing. ✨
  • Expert guidance: Our artists are pros who know how to keep a class of 30 teenagers engaged and inspired the whole time. 🎤
  • Stress-free for teachers: We handle everything from the protective gear to the final clean-up. You just show up! 🎉
  • No upfront cost: Book with peace of mind—you only pay after the workshop is finished and everyone is smiling. 💪

Step by step

  1. Intro and safety: We start with a quick meet-and-greet and a vital safety briefing on how to use the gear properly.
  2. The history of spray: A brief, high-energy talk about graffiti culture and how it evolved from the streets to the galleries.
  3. Mastering the nozzle: Students practice the four basic strokes: thin lines, fat caps, fading, and dots.
  4. Sketching the vision: Before hitting the wall, we grab paper and markers to map out the 'piece' and plan the colour schemes.
  5. Outline phase: The most exciting part! Students take to the wall to lay down the first skeletal structure of their letters.
  6. Fill-ins and fades: Time to add the pop! We teach students how to blend colours and create those classic graffiti gradients.
  7. The 'Power-Line' outline: We go back over the sketch with a sharp outline to make the 3D effects and letters really jump off the wall.
  8. Final flares and highlights: Adding the finishing touches—shines, drips, and stars—to make the masterpiece look professional.
  9. The group photo: We finish by celebrating the collective work with a massive group photo in front of the new mural!

Local culture

Street art in Kuressaare

Kuressaare might be famous for its epic medieval castle and calm spa vibes, but there is a growing heartbeat of modern creativity pulsing through Saaremaa. Bringing a graffiti workshop to this historic setting creates a brilliant contrast between the old-world stone walls and the cutting-edge style of modern street art. We love working with schools in this area because the students bring a unique island perspective to their designs.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Saaremaa has its own unique folklore and symbols? We often encourage students in local schools to blend these traditional Estonian motifs with modern graffiti lettering for a truly 'Kuressaare' style!

While you're here, don't forget we also host workshops in Tallinn, Tartu, and Pärnu!
