Is the graffiti workshop safe for secondary school students?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls for every secondary school student in Parnu. Our professional artists lead the session with a comprehensive safety briefing, ensuring everyone uses the spray cans correctly. We also use low-odour, professional-grade paints to ensure the environment remains comfortable and safe for all participants throughout the workshop.

Do students need any previous art experience?

No prior experience or 'artistic talent' is needed at all! Our Parnu workshops are designed to take students from zeros to heroes. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex tagging and filling techniques. Our expert artists are right there to guide them, so even the most hesitant student will walk away with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

A standard secondary school workshop in Parnu usually lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This provides enough time for the initial briefing, sketching out ideas, practicing techniques, and completing the final masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit into a specific school period or a full afternoon of creative activities depending on your school's schedule requirements.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything needed for a successful street art session! This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, protective masks, gloves, and protective suits. We also provide the canvases or boards that the students will work on. All you need to bring is your group’s enthusiasm and perhaps some old clothes just in case, though the overalls do a great job!

Where in Parnu does the workshop take place?

We are extremely flexible! We can host the workshop at a location of your choice in Parnu, such as the school grounds or a local park (with permits). Alternatively, we can help arrange a suitable outdoor spot where students can work freely. As graffiti is best practiced in well-ventilated areas, we usually recommend an outdoor setting to give the students the true street art experience.

Can the students keep the artwork they create?

The final creative project can be tailored to your school's goals. Often, students work on individual canvases that they can take home as a souvenir. However, we also offer 'mural style' workshops where the entire class works together on a large-scale project or a series of panels that can be displayed in the school hallways to celebrate their collective creativity.

How does the pricing work for larger school groups?

Our pricing is transparent and based on your group size. In Parnu, school workshops generally range from €20 to €40 per student. This covers all materials, professional instruction, and travel. We don't require any upfront payment—you simply pay after the workshop is completed. For an exact figure tailored to your specific school group, just request a custom quote!

Introduction to street art: We dive into a brief history of graffiti culture and explain the transition from 'tagging' to fine art.
Safety first: Every student gets kitted out in protective masks, gloves, and suits while we explain how to handle the cans safely.
Mastering the can: We start with 'can control' exercises, teaching students how to make thin lines, fat caps, and smooth fades.
Sketching the design: Students brainstorm their concept, sketching out their ideas on paper before hitting the canvas.
Outlining and filling: The real fun begins as students start painting, learning how to layer colours and create 3D effects.
Adding the details: Under artist guidance, students add highlights and shadows to make their artwork 'pop' off the wall.
The grand reveal: Everyone steps back to admire their work, followed by a group photo session with the finished masterpieces.
Clean-up and feedback: We pack up the materials, leaving the site as we found it, and provide final tips for the young artists.
