What kind of surfaces can you paint on during the event?

Absolutely! While we love creating large-scale murals on wooden panels or canvas, we can also work on unique items like branded clothing, vehicles, or even furniture. We tailor the surface to the vibe of your event in Kuressaare. If you have a specific idea or a physical object you want transformed into a piece of art, just let us know during the booking process and we will make it happen!

Is live painting messy or smelly for an indoor venue?

Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and professional floor coverings to ensure no paint ends up where it shouldn't. If your venue is indoors with limited ventilation, we can often switch to water-based paint markers or airbrushing techniques to keep the air fresh. We’ve worked in high-end hotels and historic spaces across Estonia, so your venue is in safe hands.

How long does a live painting performance typically last?

In most cases, the artwork is finished by the end of your event. For very complex or massive murals, our artists might arrive early to 'sketch in' the foundations, ensuring the 'wow moment' happens right when your guests are watching. Once finished, the artwork belongs to you! It serves as a fantastic permanent memento of your Kuressaare gathering that you can hang in your office or home.

Can the performance be adjusted to fit our event schedule?

The beauty of live painting is its flexibility. We can create a high-impact piece in as little as 2 hours, or provide a slow-burn creative backdrop that evolves over a full 8-hour conference or festival. We usually recommend a 3-hour window to capture the full transformation from a blank canvas to a completed masterpiece, keeping your guests engaged throughout the entire process.

Can my guests join in and help paint?

While our artists are the main attraction, we love getting people involved! We can set up a 'participatory' section where guests can add a small tag or a splash of colour under the artist's guidance. It’s a brilliant way to make your guests feel like they are part of the creative process. If you want a full hands-on experience, you might also want to check out our graffiti workshops for groups.

What do I need to provide for the artist?

We generally handle everything! We bring the paint, the protective gear, the canvases, and the drop cloths. All we usually need from you is a flat space to work, decent lighting, and (if indoors) a bit of ventilation. If the event is outdoors at night, we might need access to a power point for a spotlight. We make the logistics as easy as possible so you can focus on enjoying the party.

Local culture

Kuressaare, the heart of Saaremaa, is known for its stunning medieval castle and relaxing spa culture, but there is a growing appetite for modern, urban expression. Bringing live graffiti art to this historic setting creates a brilliant juxtaposition—the old world meeting the new. Our artists love the unique light of the island and the laid-back, creative spirit of the local community. It’s a city that appreciates craftsmanship, and seeing a mural come to life reflects that same dedication to the arts.

🎨 Fun Fact: Did you know Kuressaare is one of the sunniest spots in Estonia? This makes it the perfect location for outdoor live painting sessions where the natural island light makes the spray paint colours truly pop!
