How far in advance should I book a live painting session?

Booking a live painting performance in Viljandi is a breeze! We recommend reaching out at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially during the busy summer festival season or around the Viljandi Folk Music Festival. However, we have a large team of backup artists, so even if you have a last-minute request, give us a shout and we will do our absolute best to make it happen!

Do I need to provide any materials for the artist?

Not at all! Our professional graffiti artists are fully self-sufficient. We bring the high-quality spray paint, specialized caps, protective floor covering, and the canvas or boards. All we need from you is an agreed-upon space to work in and, if the event is indoors, a bit of ventilation. We handle the setup and the cleanup, leaving you to enjoy the party.

Is live spray painting safe for indoor events in Viljandi?

Safety is our middle name! We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and can provide air purification or specialized boards for indoor use. Our artists are trained professionals who maintain a clean workspace. We also ensure that the painting area is properly cordoned off so your guests can watch the magic happen from a safe and comfortable distance.

How long does a live painting performance usually take?

The beauty of live painting is its flexibility. A standard performance usually lasts between 2 and 4 hours, perfectly timed to match the energy of your event. We can accelerate the process for a high-impact short show or spread the creativity out over an entire afternoon. We'll chat about your schedule beforehand to ensure the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you want it.

Can the artist include our company logo or a specific theme?

Absolutely! Whether it's a corporate logo, a specific wedding theme, or a tribute to Viljandi's local history, our artists can incorporate your branding and colours into the piece. We usually discuss the concept and sketches with you before the event starts, ensuring the final masterpiece aligns perfectly with your vision while still keeping that authentic street art soul.

What happens to the artwork after the event is over?

Once the paint is dry, the artwork is yours to keep! It serves as a fantastic permanent memento of your event. Many of our Viljandi clients choose to hang the final canvas in their office, shop, or community centre. If you've booked us for a brand activation, the finished piece becomes a powerful marketing asset you can use for years to come.

The experience

Why choose live painting for your Viljandi gathering? It’s more than just decor—it’s a dynamic experience that stays with your guests long after the paint dries. Here is why it works: 🔥

Magnetic Attraction: The sound and smell of spray paint naturally draw people in, creating a central hub of excitement.
Custom Storytelling: We weave your brand, your message, or your event theme directly into the artwork.
Interactive Soul: It gives guests something to watch, talk about, and photograph as the piece evolves in real-time.
Social Media Fire: Live art is incredibly "Instagrammable," ensuring your event trends online with stunning visuals.
A Lasting Legacy: You get to keep the final piece! It’s custom-made decor for your office or home.
Professional & Stress-Free: We handle everything from drop-sheets to cleanup—you just enjoy the show.

Step by step

Initial consultation: We chat about your event in Viljandi, the vibe you're going for, and any specific themes or branding you want to spark to life.
Creative concept: Our artists draft a rough concept or sketch, ensuring the colours and style match your vision perfectly.
Surface setup: On the day, we arrive early to set up the 'canvas'—whether that's a professional mobile wall, stretched canvases, or an existing structure.
Protection & Safety: We lay down floor coverings and set up safety barriers so your guests can watch the action without any mess.
The performance starts: Our artist begins the 'tagging' and sketching phase, immediately drawing a crowd with the rhythmic sound of shaking cans.
Layering & Colour: Watch as the piece evolves! This is the most engaging part where the shapes come to life and the vibrant colours are filled in.
The fine details: To finish, the artist adds highlights, sharp outlines, and those final 'wow' details that make the piece pop.
The big reveal: We peel back the tape and present the finished masterpiece to your cheering guests—the perfect photo opportunity!
Handover: We pack up our gear, clean the area, and leave you with a stunning piece of custom street art to keep forever.

Local culture

Viljandi has always been the creative heartbeat of Estonia, famous for its deep folk roots and the stunning ruins of its Franciscan Abbey. But there is a modern, urban pulse beating beneath the cobblestones too! Street art in Viljandi is about storytelling and community. By bringing a live painting performance to your event, you're tapping into that local spirit of innovation and heritage. Whether your event is near the shimmering Lake Viljandi or tucked away in a cosy creative hub downtown, our artists know how to channel the city's unique "Viljandi vibe" into every stroke.

🎨 Fun Fact: Viljandi is home to some of the most charming "hidden" street art in Estonia, including the famous strawberry murals inspired by Paul Kondas! Our live painting can pay homage to this whimsical local history or create something entirely new and edgy.
