Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most of our pop-up participants in Viljandi have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, teaching you how to control the nozzle, manage pressure, and create clean lines. We provide a safe, encouraging environment where mistakes are just part of the creative process. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created from scratch.

Is the workshop safe and what gear is provided?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. The paints we use are professional-grade but handled with strict safety protocols. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring that the creative flow remains fun and accident-free for everyone involved in the Viljandi event.

Where exactly do these pop-up events take place?

Our pop-up events are incredibly flexible. We can set up temporary 'cellophane walls' between trees in a park, utilize mobile wooden panels, or work on large canvases. This means we can bring the graffiti experience to almost any location in Viljandi, whether it’s a public square, a private garden, or an indoor warehouse space. We handle all the setup and teardown, leaving the site spotless.

What kind of paint and materials do you use?

We use high-quality, quick-drying spray paint specifically designed for street art. This allows for layering and fine detail work without long waiting times. We also provide a wide variety of caps (nozzles) that allow for different line widths—from 'skinny' caps for outlines to 'fat' caps for filling in large areas quickly. All materials are included in your booking price.

How long does a typical pop-up session last?

A standard pop-up workshop typically lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a technical demonstration, individual practice, and the creation of a final collaborative or individual piece. If you have specific timing requirements for your Viljandi event, we can easily tailor the schedule to fit your itinerary perfectly.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

If the Viljandi weather doesn't cooperate, we have several backup plans. We can move the event to an indoor location, use large gazebos for cover, or reschedule to a better time. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we are extremely flexible with scheduling. We’ll work closely with you to ensure your graffiti experience happens regardless of the clouds!

Local culture

Viljandi is famous for its folk music and ruins, but there’s a growing appetite for modern, urban expression beneath that traditional surface. Our pop-up events bridge the gap between the city's historic charm and the cutting-edge world of contemporary street art. We love setting up near the scenic lake or within the creative hub of the city, bringing a splash of neon to the Estonian landscape.

Fun Fact: Did you know Viljandi is often called the 'cultural capital' of Estonia? Adding a graffiti event here isn't just about paint; it's about contributing to a long-standing tradition of local creativity! 🏰

If you're looking for more inspiration, why not check out our work in Tallinn or Tartu? We also regularly visit Narva and Pärnu to keep the Estonian street art scene buzzing.
