Are the workshop locations in Viljandi wheelchair accessible?

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Whether participants use wheelchairs or have other mobility requirements, we choose locations in Viljandi that offer easy access. We can set up our 'canvas' walls at different heights to ensure everyone can reach the surface comfortably and join in the spray-painting fun without any physical barriers holding them back.

What safety measures are in place for participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one breathes in fumes, along with gloves and protective suits to keep clothes clean. Our artists are trained to supervise the use of spray cans closely, ensuring a safe, controlled environment where everyone can feel secure while they explore their creative side.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We focus on the 'experience' rather than the final product. Our professional artists lead the group through simple, fun techniques that produce great results quickly. It’s all about the joy of pressing that nozzle and seeing bright colours appear on the wall, regardless of previous artistic skill.

How do you handle sensory sensitivities?

We understand that some participants may have sensory sensitivities. We can easily adapt the workshop by choosing a quieter location within Viljandi, reducing the group size, or playing soft background music. If the sound of the spray cans is a concern, we can provide ear defenders or suggest alternative techniques. Just let us know your specific needs beforehand!

How long does a typical session last?

Most of our special needs workshops in Viljandi last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This timeframe is usually perfect for keeping engagement high without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible! If your group needs more frequent breaks or a shorter, high-energy burst of creativity, we can tailor the schedule to match your group's stamina and attention span.

What do we need to bring to the workshop?

Everything is included! We bring the spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the surface to paint on (usually large plastic film or boards). You don't need to bring a thing except your enthusiasm. After the session, we handle all the clean-up, leaving the site exactly as we found it.

The experience

Tailored pacing: We never rush; the workshop moves at the speed that feels right for the participants. 🐢
Sensory-rich experience: The sound of the can, the vibrant colours, and the physical movement offer wonderful tactile stimulation.
Confidence building: There is no 'right' or 'wrong' in graffiti, which helps take the pressure off and builds self-esteem. 🏆
Expert guidance: Our artists are not just great painters; they are patient, energetic, and love sharing their passion with everyone.
Fully mobile: We can come to your facility in Viljandi or find a perfect local spot that meets your accessibility needs. 🚐
No-risk booking: With our backup artist guarantee and "pay after" policy, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us to discuss the specific needs, interests, and abilities of your group so we can tailor the session.
Venue selection: We identify a suitable, accessible location in Viljandi, whether it's an outdoor spot near Lake Viljandi or a private indoor space.
Safety briefing: We start with a gentle introduction to the gear, showing everyone how to wear their masks and suits comfortably.
Colour choosing: Participants get to pick their favourite spray can colours from our extensive professional range.
First sprays: Our artists demonstrate basic techniques, helping everyone get a feel for the pressure and movement of the can.
Collaborative creation: The group works together on a large-scale piece, or individual sections, with as much or as little guidance as they like.
Detailing & finishing: We help add those final 'pops' of colour and outlines to make the artwork really stand out.
Photo session: We capture the proud smiles and the final masterpiece with a group photo to remember the day.
Clean up: Our team packs everything away, ensuring the Viljandi site is left spotless.

Local culture

Viljandi is often called the "cultural heart of Estonia", and for good reason! Known for its world-famous folk music festival and its dramatic castle ruins, the city has a deep-rooted appreciation for all forms of art. Taking a graffiti workshop in Viljandi means tapping into that local creative energy. While the city is famous for its history, the modern street art scene is growing, adding a splash of contemporary colour to the cobblestone streets. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Viljandi is home to the 'Strawberry' sculptures? There are eight giant concrete strawberries scattered around the town, inspired by a painting by local artist Paul Kondas. It’s the perfect quirky vibe for a graffiti session! 🍓
