Are your workshops really suitable for all types of special needs?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, we pride ourselves on being accessible to everyone. Our artists have extensive experience working with people who have various physical, cognitive, or sensory challenges. We adapt our teaching style, the physical setup of the workshop, and the tools used to ensure every participant in Rakvere feels comfortable, safe, and fully capable of creating something beautiful they can be proud of.

How do you ensure the safety of the participants during the session?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks, and we use professional-grade spray paints in well-ventilated areas. For our special needs groups, we take extra care to ensure the environment is calm and controlled. Our instructors are trained to monitor the group closely, providing a helping hand whenever needed to ensure a worry-free creative experience.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard special needs workshop in Rakvere typically lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This duration is usually perfect for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible! If your group needs a shorter session with more breaks, or a longer, more relaxed pace, we can easily customise the schedule to suit your specific requirements.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes a wide range of colourful spray cans, protective clothing (overalls/ponchos, gloves, and masks), and the 'canvas' (this could be a wall or individual boards). You don't need to bring anything except your enthusiasm and some old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on.

Do participants need any prior art experience or skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the very basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to make simple lines. Our Rakvere artists guide you through every single step. It’s amazing to see how quickly people gain confidence and start creating impressive art, regardless of their prior artistic experience.

How does the 'pay after the workshop' policy work?

We understand that plans can change, especially with special needs groups. One of the best things about Graffitifun is that you don't need to pay anything upfront. You can book your date, and payment is only handled after the workshop is successfully completed. This provides peace of mind and ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we've provided in Rakvere.

Can you host the workshop at our own location in Rakvere?

We certainly do. While we have great locations we use, we are more than happy to come to your facility, school, or community centre in Rakvere or the surrounding Lääne-Viru County. We just need a suitable outdoor space or a very well-ventilated indoor area. Mobile workshops are a great way to keep participants in a familiar, comfortable environment.

Step by step

Warm welcome and introduction: We start with a friendly meet-and-greet where our artists introduce themselves and explain the plan for the day in an easy-to-understand way.
Gear up for safety: We help everyone put on their protective gear, including gloves and masks, making sure everyone feels comfortable and ready to go.
Learning the basics: We demonstrate how the spray cans work, showing simple techniques like making dots, lines, and different spray patterns.
Sketching the ideas: Participants get a chance to brainstorm and sketch their ideas on paper or directly on the surface with guidance from our pros.
First layers of colour: The fun really begins as we start filling in the designs with bold, vibrant colours, focusing on hand-eye coordination and expression.
Adding the details: Our artists help participants add outlines, shadows, and highlights to make their graffiti 'pop' and look professional.
The final masterpiece: We take a moment to admire the completed work, ensuring every participant feels a sense of achievement and pride.
Photos and celebration: We capture the moment with group photos in front of the art, celebrating the creativity and hard work of the day!

Local culture

Rakvere is a city that beautifully blends the old with the new, from the towering ruins of the Rakvere Castle to the quirky modern sculptures like the Tarvas. This spirit of creative evolution makes it the perfect place for a graffiti workshop. While Rakvere is known for its history, there’s a growing appetite for contemporary street art that adds a splash of colour to the Lääne-Viru County landscape. We bring that urban energy to a local level, ensuring our workshops feel like a natural part of the city's artistic pulse.

Fun Fact: Did you know Rakvere is home to the Tarvas, the largest animal statue in the Baltic States? Just like that legendary bull, we encourage our participants to be bold and leave a lasting impression with their artwork!
