What happens if the artist is sick on the day?

We pride ourselves on reliability! While illness happens, Graffitifun works with a wide network of backup artists across Spain. If your primary instructor is unavailable, we have a pool of professional graffiti artists ready to step in. Your Madrid team development session is safe with us, and we rarely ever cancel. Safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.

Do we need to be artistic or have drawing skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to undercover Da Vincis. Our professional artists guide you through the 'tagging' process and 'piece' creation step-by-step. You'll be amazed at what your team can produce together when given the right tools and a little confidence boost. It's about collaboration, not perfection.

What should our team wear to the workshop?

We provide high-quality protective gear for everyone, including ponchos, gloves, and masks. However, graffiti is a messy business! We strongly recommend that all participants wear old clothes and shoes that they don't mind getting a little paint on. Think 'outdoor DIY' attire rather than office casual. We want you to focus on the art, not your dry-cleaning bill!

Where do the workshops usually take place in Madrid?

Usually, we host these sessions at one of our vibrant outdoor legal graffiti spots or dedicated urban art spaces in Madrid. This provides the most authentic street art atmosphere. However, if you have a specific venue in mind or want to hold it at your office (provided there is a well-ventilated outdoor area or car park), we can discuss the logistics with you!

Can we keep the artwork we create during the session?

Absolutely! One of the best parts of our team development sessions is creating a collaborative masterpiece. While individual canvases are available, we often have teams work on a large professional mural or wooden boards together. This remains as a physical trophy of your team's creativity and unity. It’s a fantastic way to brighten up your Madrid office space afterwards.

Is there an upfront payment required for booking?

We believe in the quality of our experiences and building trust with our clients. That’s why we offer a 'pay after' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront deposits or hidden costs. Once the paint has dried and your team is buzzing from the experience, we handle the settlement. It’s our way of ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the day.

The warm-up: We start with a quick intro to graffiti culture and a safety briefing on how to use the spray cans correctly. ✨
Tagging 101: Every artist needs a signature! Learn the basics of lettering and create your own personal 'tag'.
The sketch phase: Your group brainstorms a concept that represents your team’s goals or identity for the final piece. ✍️
Outline techniques: Our professional artists show you how to scale up your sketch onto the wall or canvas boards.
Fill-in and flow: This is where the colour comes in! Everyone gets stuck in, filling the outlines and blending shades.
The finishing touches: Learn 'highlights' and 'lowlights' to make your team artwork pop and look professional. 🔥
The big reveal: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece and snap those essential team photos. 📸
Reflect and reconnect: A short wrap-up session to discuss the creative process and the day's collaborative wins.

Local culture

Madrid isn't just about the Prado and the Reina Sofía; the city's real heart beats in the street art of Malasaña and the industrial-cool vibes of Lavapiés. By choosing a graffiti workshop here, you're tapping into a rich urban heritage that defines modern Spain. We bring the authentic 'Madrileño' spirit to your team building event, ensuring an atmosphere that is as vibrant as the city itself.

Fun fact: Madrid is home to one of Europe's most famous street art initiatives, the 'Muros Tabacalera', where a former tobacco factory’s exterior walls are transformed annually by local and international artists! 🎨
