Absolutely not! Our Madrid pop-up workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our pro artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering 'fading' techniques. Most of our guests have never touched a spray can before they arrive, but they all leave with a piece of art they are proud of. It is all about having fun and letting your imagination run wild in a relaxed, supportive environment.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or boards you will be painting on. Just bring your enthusiasm and perhaps some comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. We have got the rest covered!

What should I wear to the graffiti event?

While we provide protective gear like overalls and gloves, we always recommend wearing comfortable, 'sensible' clothing. Since we are working with permanent aerosol paint, there is always a small chance of a stray splash. Avoid your brand-new designer trainers or your favourite white shirt. Think comfortable, casual, and ready to get a little bit messy for the sake of great art!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority at every Graffitifun event. we use high-quality spray paint and provide FFP2 or FFP3 grade masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We also ensure our pop-up locations in Madrid are well-ventilated. If you have specific respiratory concerns, please let us know in advance so we can take extra care.

How long does the graffiti experience last?

Our standard pop-up experience usually lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, some practice runs on the 'practice wall', and then the creation of your final masterpiece. We find this timing is the 'sweet spot' where people stay energised and creative without getting tired. If you are booking a private group, we can sometimes adjust the duration to fit your schedule.

What happens if it rains during an outdoor event?

Madrid's weather is usually fantastic, but if we are outdoors and rain is forecast, we have backup plans. We often work with venues that have covered areas, or we can relocate to one of our indoor studio partners. Our 'backup artist' policy also ensures that your event goes ahead even if there’s a last-minute hitch. We will always communicate with you to ensure the experience is fun and dry!
