What exactly is an anti-vandalism graffiti workshop?

An anti-vandalism workshop in Jonava is a proactive educational experience. We teach participants the difference between illegal tagging (vandalism) and street art (creation). By providing a legal outlet and professional guidance, we channel creative energy into beautiful murals. It’s about teaching respect for public property while giving people the skills to express themselves artistically in the right places and with the right permission.

Do participants need prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops in Jonava are designed for everyone, from absolute beginners to those with a bit of a creative streak. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from holding the can to master-shading techniques. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can create something impressive once you learn the basic 'rules' of spray painting and can control.

How do you ensure the safety of the participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our aerosol paints are low-odour and chosen for their quality. Furthermore, our instructors are experienced professionals who ensure that the workshop environment is controlled, respectful, and focused on positive spray painting techniques rather than reckless behaviour.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard session in Jonava typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of a large-scale piece. We find this is the 'sweet spot' where participants stay fully engaged and energised without getting tired, ensuring everyone leaves with a massive smile and a sense of achievement.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We can accommodate a wide range of groups! Whether you are a small community youth group of 10 or a larger school project with 50+ participants, we have the staff and materials to handle it. For very large groups, we simply bring more of our backup artists to ensure the instructor-to-student ratio remains low so everyone gets personal attention and guidance.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Jonava is famous for its greenery and pleasant weather, but if the Lithuanian clouds decide to open up, we have plans! We can often move workshops to sheltered outdoor areas or use well-ventilated indoor spaces with protective floor coverings. Plus, with our network of backup artists available, we are extremely flexible with scheduling to ensure your event goes ahead regardless of the weather.

Step by step

Introduction & Ethics: We start with a chat about the history of graffiti and the vital difference between vandalism and street art.
Gear Up: Everyone gets kitted out in protective suits, gloves, and professional-grade masks to stay clean and safe.
Can Control: Our artists demonstrate how to hold the spray can, how to control pressure, and how to create different line widths.
Sketching the Vision: Participants brainstorm a positive theme and sketch out the rough outlines of their collaborative mural.
The First Layer: We start painting! Everyone helps fill in the large background areas to get a feel for the flow of the paint.
Outline & Detail: This is where the magic happens. We add sharp outlines, shadows, and highlights to make the artwork pop.
The 'Fat Cap' Finale: We add those final flourishes and tags (the legal kind!) to finish the masterpiece.
Review & Photos: We stand back, admire the work, and take group photos to remember the day.
Clean Up: We ensure the site is left spotless, teaching the importance of leaving no trace behind other than the art itself.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Jonava, often called the "City of Youth" and known for its stunning surroundings like the Jonava Cultural Centre and the Joninių Slėnis (Joninės Valley), is the perfect backdrop for creative expression. We embrace the city's energetic spirit by showing how street art can complement the urban landscape rather than detract from it. From the banks of the Neris river to the bustling town centre, we bring a fresh, artistic perspective to the heart of Lithuania. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Jonava is famous for its vibrant Midsummer (Joninės) celebrations? Our workshops aim to bring that same festive, communal energy to the streets through permanent, positive art! 🌾

While we love working in Jonava, we also bring our spray cans to Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Šiauliai. No matter where you are in Lithuania, we're ready to paint! 🔥

Pricing

Our pricing is as flexible as our art! Because every group in Jonava has different needs—from the number of cans used to the size of the mural—we provide tiered pricing to ensure you get the best value.

Estimated price range: €18 - €38 per person.

The final cost depends on your group size, the duration of the workshop, and the specific location setup. We love to create bespoke experiences that fit your budget while delivering maximum impact. ✨
