What is the difference between a standard workshop and an anti-vandalism program?

An anti-vandalism workshop focuses on turning destructive impulses into constructive art. While a standard workshop is purely for fun, this session in Šiauliai teaches participants the difference between 'tagging' without permission and creating legal, community-sanctioned street art. We focus heavily on respect for public property and showing how professional techniques can be used to beautify the city rather than damage it. It’s education through creativity!

Is the workshop safe for children and teenagers?

Absolutely! We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professional artists who prioritise safety protocols above all else. We use low-odour professional spray paint, and the workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces in Šiauliai. We ensure a controlled environment where the only thing that gets messy is the canvas or designated wall area!

Where in Šiauliai do the workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the event at several legal street art locations around Šiauliai, or we can bring the mobile graffiti wall to your schoolyard, community centre, or business premises. If you have a specific wall that needs a makeover, we can discuss the permits and possibilities of painting there directly. We love bringing the art to your doorstep!

Do I need to have any drawing skills to participate?

You don't need any prior artistic talent or experience to have a blast. Our Šiauliai street art mentors break down the process into easy, manageable steps. From holding the can correctly to layering colours and adding highlights, we guide you through it all. Most participants are shocked at how professional their final piece looks by the end of the session!

How long does a typical session last?

Standard workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2 hours, but we can extend this up to 3 hours for more intensive anti-vandalism educational sessions. This gives us enough time for the theory of street art, practice strokes, and the final creation of a large-scale masterpiece. We can also tailor the duration to fit into a school timetable or event schedule.

What is included in the price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes all premium spray paint in a huge range of colours, protective gear (suits, gloves, masks), caps (nozzles), and the canvas or wall space. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. We handle the setup and the cleanup!

How do I book and when do I pay?

Booking is easy and risk-free. You can reach out via our contact form for a quote. We don't require upfront payments; you simply pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. We also have a team of backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. We make the process as smooth as a fresh coat of paint!

Step by step

Introduction & Ethics: We start with a chat about the history of graffiti and why respecting Šiauliai's public spaces is vital for the community.
Gear Up: Everyone gets fitted with professional protective suits, gloves, and high-grade masks to stay clean and safe.
The Basics: Our pros show you how to handle the spray can, explaining how distance, pressure, and speed change your lines.
Practice Makes Perfect: Participants head to the practice wall to try out 'tags', 'throws', and basic shapes under expert guidance.
Design Concept: We work together to sketch out a positive, community-focused theme for the main piece.
First Layers: The 'fill-in' stage where we blast the big blocks of colour onto our designated legal surface.
Outlining: This is where the magic happens! We add the crisp outlines that make the artwork pop.
Details & Highlights: We teach you the 'shining' techniques to add 3D effects and final flourishes.
The Big Reveal: We step back, admire the collaborative masterpiece, and snap some epic group photos!

Local culture

Šiauliai is famously known as the Sun City, and we think it deserves to shine even brighter! From the iconic Hill of Crosses to the bustling Tilžės Street, this city has a deep appreciation for culture and heritage. Our anti-vandalism program taps into this local pride by encouraging youngsters and adults alike to add to the city's beauty rather than detract from it. We often find inspiration in Šiauliai's unique symbols—imagine a graffiti mural featuring the 'Golden Boy' or the legendary iron fox by Lake Talkša! ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Šiauliai is home to the largest iron fox sculpture in Lithuania? It’s a symbol of the city's creative spirit—exactly what we aim to celebrate in our street art workshops! 🦊

Pricing

Our workshop prices in Šiauliai are kept as accessible as possible to encourage participation across the community. Rates typically range from €18 to €38 per person, depending on the number of participants and the specific setup (like custom canvases or large-scale walls).

Because every project in the Sun City is unique, we recommend getting in touch for a tailored estimate. Remember: no upfront payment is required—you only pay once the spray paint has dried and everyone is smiling! 🏆
