Do I need to have prior graffiti experience to join?

Absolutely no prior graffiti experience is needed! Our training is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a confident street art educator. We start with the basics of spray can control and safety before moving into complex mural techniques. Our professional artists guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable and empowered to share these new skills with your own students in Šiauliai.

What materials are included in the training package?

We provide everything you need for the session. This includes premium spray paint in a huge variety of colours, high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, protective overalls, and practice surfaces. We also provide digital resources and lesson plan templates that you can take home. Just make sure to wear comfortable, old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of 'artistic' dust on!

Is the spray paint safe to use in a school setting?

Yes, safety is our top priority. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and premium respiratory protection. During the training, we cover all the essential safety protocols you'll need to implement when working with students, including proper ventilation, skin protection, and the responsible storage of materials. You will leave the workshop feeling confident in managing a safe creative environment.

How long does the professional development session last?

The training typically lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the depth of the curriculum you choose. We offer flexible scheduling to fit around the busy lives of educators in Lithuania. Whether you want an intensive half-day session or a more relaxed pace, we can customise the duration to ensure your team gets the most out of the experience.

Can you host the training at our school in Šiauliai?

While we often host sessions at our dedicated graffiti spots, we are fully mobile! If your school or institution in Šiauliai has a suitable outdoor wall or a well-ventilated space, we can bring the entire workshop to you. This is often a great way to kickstart a permanent mural project on your own campus while the teachers learn the ropes.

How much does the teacher training cost?

Our pricing is flexible and depends on the number of participants and the specific kit you require. Generally, prices range from €18 to €38 per person. Because every educational institution has different needs, we recommend using our online cost calculator or contacting us for a bespoke quote. Remember, there is no upfront payment required—you only pay after the workshop!

What kind of educational resources do we get after?

Beyond the physical skills, we provide a pedagogical framework for teaching street art. You'll receive tips on how to manage group dynamics, how to encourage 'at-risk' youth through creative expression, and how to link graffiti to subjects like history, social justice, and traditional fine art. It’s a holistic approach to professional development that goes far beyond just 'painting walls'.
