Do I need to have prior experience with spray paint?

Absolutely no prior graffiti experience is required! Our professional artists specialize in teaching the fundamentals to beginners. We focus on transferable skills that you can take back to your classroom, regardless of your current artistic style. We’ll show you how to handle a spray can safely and effectively, ensuring you feel confident enough to demonstrate these techniques to your own students once the training is complete.

What materials are included in the teacher training?

We provide everything you need for the session. This includes premium spray paint in a wide array of colours, protective gear like gloves and masks, and high-quality canvases or practice walls. We also provide educational handouts that you can use as a reference for your future lesson plans. Just wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on, and we'll handle the rest!

How long does the professional development session last?

The training typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This duration is perfectly balanced to cover the history of street art, hands-on technique practice, and a final collaborative mural project. We find this timeframe allows educators to fully immerse themselves in the medium without it feeling rushed. If you have specific time constraints, we can often adjust the schedule to fit your professional development day requirements.

Is the workshop safe for educators and eventually students?

Safety is our top priority. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including high-quality masks and gloves. Our instructors are experts in site safety and will teach you the proper ventilation and handling techniques required for an educational environment. We also discuss how to set up a safe graffiti zone within a school setting, ensuring you can replicate the experience for your students responsibly.

Can I use this training for my formal CPD credits?

Yes, our training is designed specifically for professional development. We don't just teach you how to paint; we show you how to teach others. This includes lesson planning ideas, curriculum integration for subjects like history or social studies, and tips for managing a classroom during a high-energy creative activity. You will leave with a clear roadmap of how to introduce street art into your school’s art programme.

Can the training take place at our school in Kaunas?

While we primarily hold these sessions at our specialized street art locations in Kaunas to give you the full experience, we are mobile! If your school has an appropriate outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area, we can bring the entire workshop to you. This is a great way to transform a plain school wall into a vibrant mural while the staff learns the ropes together.

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

We understand that school budgets and schedules can be unpredictable. That’s why we offer a 'no upfront payment' policy. You can book your training session to secure the date and the artist, and the payment is only due after the workshop has been successfully completed. This gives you total peace of mind and ensures you are 100% satisfied with the professional development experience we provide.

Local culture

Kaunas isn't just Lithuania's second city; it’s a living gallery. From the famous "Wise Old Man" mural to the hidden gems in the Courtyard Gallery (Kiemo Galerija), this city breathes street art. Our training taps into this local energy, drawing inspiration from the Bold and the Beautiful murals that decorate the city's Soviet-era architecture and modern facades alike. We celebrate the unique "Kaunastic" spirit by showing teachers how to connect local history with contemporary urban expression. 🎨

Fun Fact: Kaunas is home to the "Star Seeder," a mural that only reveals its full magic at night when the shadows align with the wall. It’s this kind of creative thinking we love to share with educators! 🔥
