Do I need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Kaunas graffiti workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners who have never held a spray can to seasoned doodlers. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and moving up to complex fills. We focus on the process and having a blast, so don't worry about your 'artistic' talent – you'll be amazed at what you can create!

What safety equipment do you provide for the street art session?

We provide all the essential safety gear, including protective masks, gloves, and high-quality overalls to keep your clothes clean. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, just in case. Your safety is our priority, and our artists ensure a controlled, ventilated environment so you can focus entirely on your creative flow.

How long does a typical graffiti session in Kaunas last?

Standard public workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art in Lithuania, a safety demo, practice sessions on the 'training wall,' and then the main event where you create your masterpiece. If you're booking for a larger group or a special brand activation, we can customise the duration to fit your schedule.

Do I need to pay in advance for the workshop?

We operate with a 'fun first, pay later' policy. You don't need to make any upfront payments to secure your booking in Kaunas. Once the workshop is finished and you're buzzing from your creative success, you can handle the payment. We accept various methods to make it as easy as possible for you to get started without the stress of deposits.

What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor workshop?

Kaunas weather can be a bit unpredictable, but the art never stops! We have access to several fantastic indoor locations and covered spots across the city. If the Lithuanian weather decides not to cooperate, we simply move the session to a dry, safe environment where you can spray to your heart's content without getting wet. Rain or shine, the graffiti goes on!

Can I take my artwork home with me after the session?

Yes! While some of our public art projects are on collaborative walls, many of our workshops include the option to work on high-quality individual canvases. This means once the paint has dried, you can take your unique piece of Kaunas street art home to hang on your wall. It’s the ultimate souvenir of your creative experience in Lithuania's cultural capital.

What is the maximum group size for a Kaunas street art event?

We love working with groups of all sizes! Whether you're a duo looking for a unique date or a large corporate team of 50+, we have the staff and materials to accommodate you. For very large groups, we bring in extra backup artists from our professional network to ensure everyone gets personal attention and plenty of time on the wall. Just let us know your numbers!

Step by step

Arrival and meet-up: We’ll meet at our designated street art spot in Kaunas. Your lead artist will introduce the crew and give you a quick rundown of what to expect during the session.
Street art history: Get inspired with a brief talk about the evolution of graffiti, from New York subways to the vibrant mural culture currently transforming the streets of Lithuania.
Gear up for safety: We’ll kit you out with professional-grade masks, gloves, and protective suits. Safety is our top priority, and looking like a pro artist is a great bonus!
The anatomy of a spray can: Learn how to handle the "tool of the trade." We’ll show you how different caps (nozzles) create different line widths and textures.
Practice on the wall: Before starting your main piece, you’ll have time on a practice section to get a feel for the pressure, distance, and movement required for clean lines.
Sketching your concept: Whether you're using a stencil or going freehand, we’ll help you map out your design on the canvas or wall using light 'faded' colours.
Filling and blending: This is where the magic happens! Learn how to layer colours, create gradients (fades), and add depth to your artwork with shadows and highlights.
The final outline: Define your work with a crisp final outline to make the colours pop. Our artists will be right there to help with any tricky bits!
Photos and wrap-up: Strike a pose with your creation! We’ll take professional group photos, clean up the gear, and celebrate your new status as a Kaunas street artist.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Kaunas is a city where history meets the avant-garde. Known for its stunning Interwar architecture, the city has recently become a massive open-air gallery, thanks to events like the Nykoka street art festival. From the legendary "Wise Old Man" mural to the hidden gems in the Courtyard Gallery (Kiemo galerija), Kaunas breathes creativity. Our workshops take place in areas that celebrate this urban vibe, allowing you to feel the pulse of the city while you work. 🇱🇹

Fun Fact: Did you know Kaunas was the European Capital of Culture in 2022? This sparked a massive surge in public art projects, making it the perfect place to learn the craft of graffiti!

Besides our Kaunas sessions, we also host amazing events in Vilnius, Klaipeda, Siauliai, and Panevezys. Wherever you are in Lithuania, there's a wall waiting for your style!
