Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with disabilities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. For our special needs workshops in Kaunas, we use low-odour, water-based spray paints whenever possible to ensure a comfortable environment for those with sensory sensitivities. Our artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the tools correctly while having a blast in a secure, controlled setting.

Where in Kaunas do these workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you have a specific community centre in mind or want us to find a wheelchair-accessible spot near the Nemunas island, we can make it work. We can set up mobile graffiti walls at your location or host you at one of our partner creative spaces in Kaunas. We just need a well-ventilated area, and we'll take care of all the setup and floor protection!

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! This experience is all about expression, not technical perfection. Our Kaunas-based artists specialise in guiding people of all ability levels. We use stencils, tape, and simple techniques that allow anyone to create something they are proud of. It’s about the joy of the process and the sensory experience of the paint, rather than following strict rules of traditional art.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard special needs sessions usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is perfect for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we know that every group is unique. If you feel your group would benefit from a shorter, high-energy session or a longer, more relaxed pace with more breaks, we are more than happy to customise the schedule to suit your needs.

What is the ideal group size for this program?

We generally recommend a minimum of 5 to 10 participants to create a great group atmosphere, but we can cater to much larger groups as well. For special needs programmes, we focus on maintaining a high artist-to-participant ratio. This ensures that everyone gets the individual attention and encouragement they deserve. If you have a very large group, we simply bring more backup artists to help out!

How does the payment process work?

We want your booking experience to be as stress-free as the workshop itself! You don't need to pay anything upfront. We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. We accept bank transfers and can provide all the necessary invoicing for organisations or care facilities in Lithuania. Just focus on the art, and we'll handle the paperwork!

Can we keep the artwork we create?

The best part of a Graffitifun workshop is that you get to keep what you create! Each participant usually works on their own individual canvas or a section of a large shared mural. Once the paint is dry, these masterpieces are yours to take home or hang up in your centre as a colourful reminder of what the group achieved together. It's a wonderful way to boost self-esteem and decorate your space!

Local culture

Kaunas is a city that breathes art, from its stunning Interwar architecture to the world-famous "Kiemo Galeryja" (Yard Gallery). Street art isn't just decoration here; it's part of the city's soul. Our workshops draw inspiration from the massive murals found throughout the city, like the iconic "Wise Old Man" near the castle. We love bringing this local urban culture to the special needs community, showing that everyone can contribute to the "Kaunastic" vibe that makes this city so special. 🏰 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Kaunas was the first city in Central and Eastern Europe to be named a UNESCO City of Design? We carry that creative legacy into every workshop we host!
