Is the graffiti workshop safe for individuals with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our spray paints are selected for their ease of use, and our professional artists provide constant supervision and guidance. We tailor the pace of the workshop to ensure every participant feels comfortable, secure, and confident throughout their creative journey in Jonava.

How do you adapt the session for different types of disabilities?

Our workshops are highly flexible. Whether participants have physical mobility challenges, sensory sensitivities, or learning disabilities, we adapt our teaching methods. We can use different types of nozzles for easier spraying, adjust the height of the canvases, or provide quiet zones if the environment becomes overstimulating. Just let us know your specific requirements during the booking process!

How long does a typical workshop last?

Typically, our special needs graffiti sessions in Jonava last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This timeframe is ideal as it allows enough time for an introduction, practice, and creating a final masterpiece without becoming too fatiguing. However, we are happy to adjust the duration based on the group's energy levels and concentration spans.

What is the ideal group size for this program?

We recommend a smaller group size to ensure everyone gets plenty of one-on-one attention from our artists. Usually, a ratio of one artist to 10 or 15 participants works best, but we can accommodate larger groups by bringing in additional backup artists. This ensures a high-quality, supportive experience for everyone involved in Jonava.

Do we need to provide any materials?

We provide everything you need! This includes a wide variety of colourful spray cans, protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks. We also provide the canvases or boards that you'll be painting on. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some clothes you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on just in case!

Do participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our friendly professional artists will guide you through every step, from how to hold the spray can to creating cool shapes and fades. Most of our participants have never touched a spray can before and are amazed by what they can create by the end.

What are the payment terms for the workshop?

We believe in total transparency and flexibility. You don’t need to worry about upfront payments when booking your Jonava workshop. We want you to be 100% satisfied with the planning and the person-centred approach we take, so we arrange payment after the workshop has successfully taken place. It's all about peace of mind for you!

Local culture

Jonava is a city known for its industrious spirit and beautiful greenery along the Neris River, but it also has a growing heart for inclusive community projects. By bringing street art to the local community, we’re adding a splash of modern culture to this historic Lithuanian hub. Street art here is about more than just paint; it’s about connection and making the city’s creative pulse accessible to everyone.

Fun Fact: Did you know Jonava is often called the "City of Midsummer" due to its famous festivities? We love bringing that same festive, celebratory energy into every graffiti workshop we host here! 🎨

Whether we are setting up near the central park or at a local community centre, the vibe in Jonava is always welcoming. We aim to contribute to the city's diverse cultural landscape by ensuring every resident, regardless of ability, has the chance to be a part of the local art scene.
