Do I need to be an artist to join a 3D graffiti workshop?

Absolutely! Our 3D street art workshops in Šiauliai are designed for everyone, from total novices to those with a creative streak. Our professional artists break down the complex perspective techniques into simple, manageable steps. We’ll guide you through the sketching, shading, and highlighting phases so that by the end of the session, you’ll be amazed at the depth you’ve created. Fun and learning are our top priorities!

How long does a typical 3D street art session last?

The duration of our 3D workshops typically ranges between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the theory of optical illusions, practice your spray can control, and complete a final piece that really 'pops' off the wall or floor. If you are planning a larger event or a festival in Siauliai, we can adapt the timing to suit your schedule perfectly.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need to create your masterpiece! This includes high-quality spray cans in a vibrant range of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvas or designated wall space. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a little dusty while you work!

Is the spray paint safe to use during the workshop?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and provide all necessary protective gear, including FFP2 masks and gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our instructors also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a worry-free environment for kids, students, and corporate teams alike.

Can you host the workshop at my own location in Šiauliai?

Yes, we are very flexible! While we have great locations in Šiauliai, we can also bring the 3D street art experience to your school, office, or event venue. As long as there is adequate ventilation and a suitable surface (or we bring our own mobile boards), we can set up almost anywhere. This makes us a popular choice for brand activations and festivals across Lithuania.

What makes 3D street art different from regular graffiti?

3D street art is specifically designed to create optical illusions from a certain vantage point. Unlike traditional 'flat' graffiti, 3D art uses distorted perspectives (anamorphosis) to make objects appear as if they are standing up or falling into the ground. During the workshop, we’ll show you the 'magic spot' where your drawing comes to life and looks incredibly realistic in photos.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

We understand that plans can change, especially with large groups. At Graffitifun, we don't require upfront payments – you pay after the workshop is completed. We also have a pool of backup artists ready to step in, so you can rest assured that your event in Šiauliai will go ahead as planned, regardless of any last-minute unforeseen circumstances. We focus on 100% satisfaction.

Step by step

Intro to illusions: We start with a cool briefing on the history of anamorphic art and how 3D illusions actually trick the human eye.
Design & perspective: You'll learn how to sketch your idea using specific 'vanishing points' to ensure the 3D effect works from the camera's lens.
Can control basics: Our artists teach you the 'low-pressure' technique – how to hold the can, swap nozzles, and create clean lines.
Shadowing & depth: This is where the magic happens! We show you how to layer dark tones to create the 'drop shadow' effect that makes art lift off the surface.
The highlight phase: Use white and bright tones to simulate light hitting your 3D object, adding that final realistic touch.
Filling & blending: Learn how to blend colours seamlessly using spray paint to create smooth gradients and textures.
The 'photo reveal': We head to the 'sweet spot' with our cameras to see your creation jump into the third dimension – it's the ultimate 'grammable moment!

Local culture

Šiauliai has always been a city of unique visual landmarks – from the iconic "Shooting Archer" (Šaulys) to the quirky street furniture along Vilniaus gatvė. By bringing 3D street art to this historic city, we are adding a modern, interactive layer to its artistic legacy. The local street art scene in Lithuania is booming, and Šiauliai is the perfect canvas with its wide pedestrian boulevards and industrial character. We love teaching this specific style here because the people of Šiauliai have a fantastic eye for detail and a playful spirit.

Fun Fact: Did you know Šiauliai is home to the famous Sun City Pedestrian Boulevard? It's one of the oldest in Europe, making it the perfect inspiration for public pavement art and large-scale 3D illusions! ☀️
