Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Pleven anti-vandalism program is designed for total beginners. Our professional street artists guide you through every single step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering complex shading. We provide a safe, supportive environment where the focus is on learning and expression rather than perfection. You'll be amazed at what you can create by the end of the session!

Where exactly do the workshops take place?

For our anti-vandalism workshops, we use legal, designated walls or provide large mobile canvases and boards. The goal is to show that street art has a proper time and place. In Pleven, we work with local authorities to ensure our creative sessions are 100% legal. If we are coming to your specific location, we bring all the necessary protective coverings to keep the surroundings tidy.

What safety gear do you provide?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overall suits to keep your clothes clean. Our spray paints are professional-grade but we always work in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large open spaces. Our instructors are also trained to manage group safety, ensuring a fun and hazard-free environment for everyone involved.

How long does the workshop session last?

A standard anti-vandalism workshop in Pleven usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a crash course in graffiti history and techniques, the sketching phase, and the final spray-painting session. It’s a fast-paced but comprehensive experience that ensures you stay engaged from the first shake of the can to the final reveal.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We can accommodate almost any group size! For small private groups of 5-10 people, the experience is very personal. For larger corporate groups or school classes in Pleven, we bring in multiple graffiti artists to ensure every participant gets enough attention and guidance. We have a backup roster of artists ready to go, so we never have to cancel a session due to scale.

Is the workshop mostly theoretical or practical?

The workshop is highly interactive! It's not just a lecture; you'll be actively painting for the majority of the time. We start with a brief demonstration, but then the cans are in your hands. You'll practice 'tagging', 'throwing', and 'piecing'. We find that the best way to prevent vandalism is to let people actually feel the effort and skill required to make real art.

What should I bring with me to the workshop?

Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of dust on—though we provide suits, it's better to be safe! We recommend closed-toe shoes. Other than that, just bring your enthusiasm. We provide all the professional spray cans, caps, masks, and paint. If you have some initial sketches or ideas, feel free to bring them along, but we have plenty of inspiration ready for you!

Safety First: Put on your pro-gear! We suit everyone up in overalls, masks, and gloves to keep things clean and safe.
The Masterclass: Our pro artists show you the "holy trinity" of graffiti: lines, fills, and fades.
Sketching your Vision: Grab a marker! You’ll sketch your design on paper first to plan out your masterpiece.
Can Control: Learn how to shake the can and use different nozzles (caps) for thin lines or fat fills.
First Strokes: Hit the wall (or canvas)! This is where you apply what you've learned under our guidance.
The Big Piece: Work individually or as a team to create a large-scale, colourful graffiti work.
Refining Details: Add highlights and outlines to make your artwork "pop" and look professional.

Local culture

Pleven is a city known for its stunning Panorama and deep historical roots, but it's also a rising hub for contemporary culture in Northern Bulgaria. We love the contrast between the classic architecture of the city centre and the raw energy of urban art. Our workshops often take inspiration from the surrounding landscapes and the resilient spirit of the local community. We aim to contribute to Pleven’s visual landscape by teaching people how to create art that enhances the city rather than defacing it.

🎨 Fun Fact: Did you know that Pleven is home to some of the most impressive monumental art in Bulgaria? By channelling that local pride into modern graffiti, we help keep the tradition of public art alive for the next generation!
