Is the graffiti workshop accessible for wheelchair users?

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Whether you are visiting from Sofia or local to Pleven, our venues are selected for their accessibility. We use adjustable workstations and can adapt our techniques for those with limited mobility, ensuring everyone can reach the canvas and express themselves comfortably with a spray can in hand.

What safety measures do you have in place for participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2-grade masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits for everyone. We also use low-odour professional spray paint where possible. Our artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring that all participants use the equipment safely while having the best time possible.

What is the ideal group size for a special needs workshop?

We recommend a ratio of one artist to every 10-12 participants to ensure everyone gets enough personal attention. However, we can accommodate groups of almost any size. For larger groups in Pleven, we simply bring more professional artists and set up more stations so that the experience remains intimate and supportive.

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-mentors guide you through everything from holding the can to creating your first 'tag' or 'piece'. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection, making it a stress-free and encouraging environment for everyone involved.

What should participants wear to the session?

While we provide protective overalls, we always suggest wearing 'work clothes' or items you don't mind getting a little paint on. Spray paint is permanent! Sturdy, comfortable shoes are also a must. We handle the rest, providing all the specialised equipment you need to create your masterpiece in Pleven.

What happens if the weather is bad or an artist is ill?

We understand that plans can change. One of the Graffitifun guarantees is our 'always-on' policy. We have a team of backup artists ready to step in if your assigned instructor is unavailable. This means your event in Pleven is secure and you won't have to worry about last-minute cancellations.

Can you host workshops in other Bulgarian cities?

Yes, we do! Our workshops are popular across Bulgaria. Apart from Pleven, we regularly host sessions in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas. If you have multiple locations or want to host a series of events across the country, we can coordinate a consistent and high-quality street art tour for your organization.

Local culture

Pleven is a city steeped in history, known for its incredible Panorama and lush Kaylaka Park, but there is also a growing appreciation for modern urban culture. By bringing our special needs graffiti program to Pleven, we are adding a fresh, inclusive layer to the city's artistic landscape. We love working in this city because of its community spirit and the way its residents embrace creative initiatives.

Fun fact: Pleven was the first city in Bulgaria to have a public monument dedicated to the fallen of the Russo-Turkish war, and today it continues that spirit of community by being a hub for accessible art and cultural development in the north! ✨
