Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialised masks to ensure everyone breathes easy while they work. Our instructors in Sofia are trained to supervise the use of spray cans closely, ensuring a controlled and safe environment. We also choose workshop locations with excellent ventilation or work outdoors whenever the Bulgarian weather permits. Your well-being is our top priority while we create art.

Can you accommodate specific physical or cognitive disabilities?

We are incredibly flexible and pride ourselves on being inclusive. Whether a participant has mobility challenges, sensory processing needs, or learning disabilities, we adapt our teaching style. We can set up canvases at specific heights for wheelchair users or provide quieter spaces for those who find loud environments overstimulating. Just let us know your specific requirements when booking, and we will tailor the session to ensure everyone feels comfortable and included.

How long does a typical workshop last?

For our special needs programs in Sofia, we recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is usually perfect for keeping engagement high without causing fatigue. It allows enough time for the introductory safety briefing, a practice session on the 'trial wall', and the completion of a final masterpiece. However, we can shorten or lengthen the session based on the group's energy levels and attention span.

Do participants need to have any artistic talent or experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from how to hold the can to creating cool effects like fades and drips. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection. Everyone leaves with a sense of achievement and a piece of art they can truly be proud of, regardless of their prior experience.

Can you bring the workshop to our specific location in Sofia?

While we usually host workshops at our dedicated street art spots in Sofia, we are more than happy to come to you! If you have a suitable outdoor space or a very well-ventilated indoor area at your facility, we can bring all the equipment, paints, and protective gear to your doorstep. This is often a great option for groups who feel more comfortable in a familiar environment. Local travel fees may apply.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy! It’s all part of the fun. In Sofia, we also suggest checking the weather forecast if the workshop is outdoors—bring a hat for sunny days or an extra layer if it's a bit breezy.

How do I book and what are the payment terms?

Planning is easy with Graffitifun! You don't need to pay anything upfront. Simply contact us with your group size and preferred dates, and we’ll send you a custom quote. Once you're happy, we'll lock in the session. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations.

Confidence boost: Nothing beats the pride of seeing a giant, colourful piece of art that you created yourself!
Motor skill development: Using spray cans is a fun way to work on fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in a relaxed setting.

Step by step

Warm welcome: Our friendly Sofia artists meet your group and introduce everyone to the colourful world of street art.
Gear up: Everyone gets fitted with protective suits, gloves, and masks to stay clean and safe throughout the session.
Safety first: A gentle introduction to using spray cans safely, focusing on hand coordination and pressure control.
The 'trial wall': A pressure-free zone where participants can experiment with different colours and see how the paint behaves.
Sketching ideas: We help participants plan their design, whether it's a name, a symbol, or a vibrant abstract piece.
The main event: It’s time to paint! Our artists offer hands-on support to help each person bring their vision to life on the canvas.
Adding details: We show how to add outlines or 'highlights' to make the artwork really pop and look professional.
The big reveal: Everyone steps back to admire their hard work, followed by a group photo with the finished masterpieces.
Takeaway: Participants get to take their unique canvases home as a permanent memory of their creative day in Sofia.

Local culture

Sofia is a city where history meets modern urban culture, and its walls tell a story! From the hidden murals in the Tsar Ivan Shishman Street area to the large-scale works in Hadzhi Dimitar, the city is a living gallery. Our workshops tap into this local energy, giving participants a chance to feel like a real part of Sofia's creative pulse. 🏛️

Fun fact: Sofia is home to some of Europe's most famous street artists, and the city even hosts dedicated festivals to celebrate "muralismo". By joining our workshop, you're stepping into a tradition that makes our capital one of the most colourful stops in the Balkans! ✨
