Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits for every student. Our spray paints are low-odour and chosen with children's safety in mind. Each workshop is led by an experienced professional who supervises the group constantly, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and that everyone stays in the designated safe zones while having a blast.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from total beginners to little Picassos. Our artists guide the students through every step, starting with simple lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. We focus on the process and the fun of creation, ensuring every child feels proud of what they’ve achieved by the end of the session.

Where in Pleven does the workshop take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the workshop right on your school grounds using mobile wooden walls or large canvases. Alternatively, we can arrange for the session to take place at a cool outdoor legal wall or a local urban space in Pleven. We always bring protective floor coverings to ensure we leave the area exactly as we found it—clean and tidy!

How long does a session usually last?

A standard primary school workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history lesson, safety instructions, sketching, and the actual painting session. We can easily adjust the duration to fit into your school’s timetable or specific event requirements without rushing the creative process.

What specific skills will the children learn?

The students will learn the basics of can control, how to create different line widths, blending colours (fading), and adding highlights or shadows. Beyond the technical skills, they’ll learn about the history of street art, the importance of teamwork on large-scale pieces, and how to express their unique personality through a new and exciting visual medium.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, various nozzle types (caps), high-quality canvases or wooden panels, and all necessary safety gear like masks and gloves. You don’t need to worry about a thing; just make sure the kids are wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on!

What should the students wear on the day?

While we provide full protective suits, we always recommend that students wear 'old' clothes and comfortable trainers. Spray paint is permanent and, despite our best efforts with suits and covers, a stray drip or smudge can happen. Dressing for a mess allows the children to fully relax and dive into the creative experience without any worries.

Local culture

Pleven is a city that breathes history, from the Panorama to its charming old squares. But who says we can't add a modern, urban twist to that heritage? By introducing graffiti art to primary schools here, we’re helping the next generation find their voice in a city known for its cultural depth. We love working with Pleven schools because the kids here have such a unique perspective on their surroundings! 🏙️

Fun Fact: Did you know Pleven was the first Bulgarian city to have electric street lighting back in 1890? We think it’s the perfect place to keep 'lighting up' young minds with bright, neon spray paint! ✨
