Do I need to have any artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely! Our Fortaleza indoor workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to those who haven't picked up a pen in years. Our pro artists guide you through every single step, from basic nozzle control to advanced shading techniques. You will be amazed at what you can create in just a couple of hours. It is all about having fun and expressing yourself in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Is it safe to spray paint indoors?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. For our indoor sessions in Fortaleza, we ensure the space has adequate ventilation or use low-odour professional spray paint specifically designed for indoor use. Our instructors are trained to manage the group safely so you can focus entirely on the creative process and having a blast with your friends.

What should I wear to the graffiti workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, just in case. While we provide full protective overalls, gloves, and shoe covers, it is best to leave your favourite designer gear at home. Think casual and ready to move! We provide everything else, so you just need to bring your energy and a desire to create something awesome.

How long does the workshop session last?

A standard indoor party workshop in Fortaleza typically lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This includes the initial safety briefing, an introduction to the history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, and plenty of hands-on time for you to complete your masterpiece. We find this is the perfect amount of time to get into the flow without getting tired, leaving you plenty of time for other party plans!

Are there any upfront costs or booking fees?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'no-risk' booking policy for Fortaleza. You don't have to pay anything upfront when you book. We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is complete and you're happy with the experience. This takes all the stress out of the planning process, letting you focus on the guest list and the celebration.

Can we take our artwork home after the party?

For our indoor parties, we usually work on high-quality canvases or specially prepared mobile walls. The best part? You get to keep your artwork! Whether it is a individual canvas or a collaborative group piece, it makes for a fantastic souvenir of your time in Fortaleza. We can also arrange for the artwork to be delivered to your office or home if it’s a particularly large piece.

Weather-proof fun: Don't let the tropical heat or sudden rain spoil the fun—our indoor venues are perfectly chilled and ready. ❄️
Total creative freedom: There are no mistakes in graffiti, only "happy accidents" and layers! ✨
Professional guidance: Learn from working artists who live and breathe the Fortaleza street art scene.
Stress-free planning: We provide everything from the paint to the protective suits; you just show up!
Unique souvenirs: Everyone goes home with their own custom canvas—way better than a standard party bag. 🏆
Zero risk: With our pay-after-the-event policy, you can book with total confidence.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Your group arrives at our Fortaleza indoor venue where our professional street artists greet you with some local energy and upbeat music.
Street art intro: We kick things off with a brief, high-energy history of graffiti—from the subway cars of New York to the vibrant walls of Brazil.
Safety first: Get geared up! Everyone receives their protective suit, gloves, and professional-grade mask to stay clean and safe while working.
Mastering the can: Our pros demonstrate "Can Control"—learning how different nozzles (caps) create thin lines, fat drips, or smooth fades.
Sketching the vision: You'll start by sketching your ideas directly onto your canvas or wall, with our artists helping you refine your layout.
Filling and fading: This is where the colour happens! Learn how to fill large areas and create those iconic graffiti gradients and blends.
The outline & highlights: Add the "power line" and "highlights" to make your piece pop and give it that professional 3D street art look.
The big reveal: We step back, take group photos, and admire the collective gallery of work created by your crew.
Wrap up: Final photos, tag signing, and packing up your masterpieces to take home and show off!

Local culture

Fortaleza is a city known for its stunning coastline, but its inner walls are just as colourful! The street art scene here is a beautiful mix of tropical influence and urban grit. From the murals decorating the Dragão do Mar Center of Art and Culture to the hidden gems in the Gentilândia neighbourhood, Fortaleza's local artists use the city as a living gallery. Participation in our workshop connects you to this local creative pulse.

Fun fact: Fortaleza is home to some of the most impressive "pichação" and muralism styles in Northern Brazil, often reflecting themes of coastal life and local folklore! 🎨
