Do I need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Fortaleza pop-up workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic spray can control and moving on to more complex techniques. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at what you can create. It's all about having fun and expressing yourself in a supportive, high-energy environment. Participants often find they have a hidden talent!

What materials are included in the pop-up event?

We've got you covered! We provide all the necessary high-quality spray paint in a vibrant range of colours, high-end protective gear (including suits, gloves, and masks), and the surfaces you'll be painting on. Whether we are working on a communal wall or individual canvases, everything is included in the price. Just show up in some comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide professional-grade filtered masks and protective overalls to keep your clothes and lungs safe. Our artists are highly trained in handling spray cans safely and will give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone starts painting. Because our Fortaleza events are held in well-ventilated or outdoor spaces, you can enjoy the creative process with total peace of mind and focus on the fun.

What is the maximum group size for a pop-up event?

Our Fortaleza pop-up events are incredibly flexible. We can host small, intimate groups of 10 or large-scale brand activations and festivals for hundreds of people. Because we have a large pool of professional artists and backup staff, we can scale our team to ensure every participant gets the attention they need. Whether it's a small gathering or a massive city event, we ensure a high-quality, interactive experience for everyone involved.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

Most of our standard pop-up workshops last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a final masterpiece. However, we are totally flexible! If you are hosting a festival or a brand activation in Fortaleza, we can offer rolling sessions throughout the day or even multiple days of creative workshops to fit your specific event schedule and requirements.

How do I book and do I need to pay upfront?

Booking is easy and risk-free with Graffitifun. You can request a quote online, and once the details are settled, your date is locked in. One of our best features is that we don't require upfront payments—you can pay after the workshop is complete. Plus, we always have backup artists on standby, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. We make the booking process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Local culture

Fortaleza is a city that pulses with colour, from the turquoise waters of Praia do Futuro to the intricate murals adorning the walls of Dragão do Mar. Street art is a vital part of the city's identity, reflecting its mix of sun, surf, and urban grit. Our workshops tap into this local "alegria," bringing that sun-drenched Ceará energy into every spray can we pop. We love incorporating local motifs and the bold, tropical palettes that define the Fortaleza street scene.

Fun Fact: Did you know Fortaleza is home to some of Brazil's most innovative "Pichação" and muralism styles? The city's coastal air might be salty, but the street art scene is nothing but sweet! ☀️
