Do I need any prior drawing experience for the VIP workshop?

Absolutely! Our VIP experience is designed for everyone, from those who haven't touched a spray can to seasoned doodlers. Our lead artist will walk you through the basics of can control, nozzle types, and lettering styles. By the time you start on your final piece, you will feel like a pro. It’s all about having a laugh and learning a cool new skill in a relaxed setting.

What should I wear to the graffiti session?

We recommend wearing comfortable old clothes and trainers that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective suits, gloves, and masks, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy when the creativity starts flowing! We’ll make sure you’re fully geared up before you start your masterpiece, so you can focus entirely on the art without worrying about your wardrobe.

How long does the VIP graffiti experience last?

Standard VIP workshops in Ambato typically last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us plenty of time for the initial introduction, practicing your techniques on the 'training wall,' and then completing your final high-end project. We never rush the process—the goal is for you to enjoy the vibe, soak up the expert advice, and finish with a piece of art you’re truly proud of.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide professional-grade FFP3 masks, protective gloves, and full-body suits to keep you safe from fumes and paint. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoor spaces. Furthermore, our artists are highly trained in site safety and will give you a full briefing before any cans are shaken. You’re in very safe, professional hands with Graffitifun.

Can you bring the workshop to my private location?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the session at one of our vetted street art locations in Ambato, or if you have a private venue or garden with enough space and ventilation, we can bring the entire VIP setup to you. Whether it’s a rooftop, a courtyard, or a dedicated studio space, we make sure the environment matches the premium feel of your event.

How does the 'pay afterwards' policy work?

Unlike many other providers, we don't require any payment upfront. We believe in the quality of our service so much that you only pay after the workshop has concluded. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any money changes hands. It’s part of our commitment to making your VIP day in Ambato as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

What makes the VIP experience different from a standard workshop?

The VIP package is our most premium offering. It includes higher-quality materials, more one-on-one time with a lead artist, and more complex canvases or surfaces to work on. We also include extra perks like professional photos of your session and a more tailored curriculum that focuses on advanced techniques. It’s less of a 'class' and more of a curated private art event designed specifically for you.

Step by step

The VIP welcome: Meet your expert street artist at the designated Ambato location for a quick intro and a rundown of the day’s creative journey.
Design consultation: Sit down with your artist to brainstorm ideas. Whether it's a personal tag, a brand logo, or an abstract mural, we plan it out first.
Safety first: Get suited and booted in our high-quality protective gear, including masks and gloves, so you stay clean while the walls get colourful.
Technique masterclass: Learn the 'secrets of the spray.' We’ll teach you about distance, pressure, and how to swap nozzles like a pro.
Practice run: Hit the practice area to get a feel for the cans. You’ll try out lines, fades, and fills before moving on to the main event.
The masterpiece: It’s time to shine! Start applying your design to the final surface with one-on-one guidance from your mentor.
Finishing touches: Learn how to add sharp outlines, 'pops' of highlights, and those professional details that make graffiti stand out.
Photo session: We’ll take high-quality photos of you and your finished work—perfect for showing off your new skills on social media.
Wrap up: Admire your work, peel off the gear, and head off with the glow of a true street art VIP.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Ambato is world-famous for its vibrant Fiesta de la Fruta y de las Flores, a celebration of resilience and beauty. This same spirit of renewal and colour flows through the city's growing street art scene. While traditionally known for its colonial charm and bustling markets, the walls of Ambato are increasingly becoming canvases for modern expression. 🎨

Our VIP workshops tap into this local energy, often taking place near creative hubs or in private spaces that overlook the dramatic Andean landscapes. Fun Fact: Did you know that Ambato is nicknamed the "Garden of Ecuador"? It’s the perfect backdrop for a graffiti session—pairing the organic beauty of the city with the raw, industrial edge of spray paint. We love incorporating local motifs, like the highland flora, into our VIP designs to give your art a truly Ambateño soul. 🔥
