What exactly is a live painting performance?

A live painting performance is a high energy art show where a professional graffiti artist creates a massive masterpiece from scratch during your event. It is designed to be visual entertainment that engages guests as they watch the process unfold. In Ambato, we tailor the theme and style to match your specific celebration or brand message, making it a truly bespoke experience.

Can we choose what the artist paints?

Absolutely! We love it when the artwork reflects your specific vibe. Whether you want your company logo, a specific color palette, or a tribute to Ambato street culture, our artists will work with you beforehand to plan the design. The final piece is a unique reflection of your event that remains yours to keep or display after the show.

Is live graffiti safe for indoor events?

Safety is a huge priority for us. We use low odour spray paints and high quality ventilation if we are working indoors. We also set up protective flooring and screens to ensure that no overspray wanders onto your venue or guests. Our artists are seasoned pros who know exactly how to manage a professional workspace even in crowded event environments.

How long does the painting process take?

The duration is flexible depending on your schedule. Most live painting sets in Ambato last between two and four hours, though we can adapt for longer festivals or shorter, high impact brand reveals. We usually arrive early to set up the canvas or wall so the action can start the moment your first guest walks through the door.

Do I need to provide any materials?

Not at all. We bring everything needed for a spectacular show. This includes the spray cans, various nozzles, protective gear, drop cloths, and the painting surface itself, whether that is a large stretched canvas or a custom built wooden wall. You just need to provide the space and the audience, and we will handle the creative heavy lifting.

How do I book a live artist in Ambato?

We do not require upfront payments, which means you pay only after the workshop or performance is complete. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a last minute cancellation.

Local culture

Ambato, known as the City of Flowers and Fruits, has a growing appreciation for contemporary art that complements its traditional heritage. From the colourful displays during the Fiesta de la Fruta y de las Flores to the burgeoning street art scenes in the San Francisco neighbourhood, this city knows how to celebrate visual beauty. Our live painting sessions tap into this local creative spirit, blending the modern flair of global graffiti culture with the unique energy of Ambato.

Fun Fact: While Ambato is famous for its garden like beauty, many local artists are now using public walls to tell the story of the city's resilience after the 1949 earthquake, making street art a vital part of its modern identity!
