How long does the VIP graffiti workshop usually last?

Your Rumelange VIP graffiti experience is fully customisable! Typically, sessions last between 2 to 3 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning the history of the craft, mastering can control, and executing a high-end masterpiece on your own canvas or a shared wall. If you have a specific schedule to stick to for your day out in Luxembourg, just let us know and we can adjust the pace to suit your needs.

Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our VIP workshops are designed for everyone from total novices to closet creatives. Our professional artists are expert coaches who will guide you through every step, from 'sketching' with a spray can to advanced shading techniques. By the time we’re done, you’ll be amazed at the professional-looking street art you’ve managed to create. It’s all about the experience and having a blast with the cans.

What should I wear to the workshop?

We’ve got you covered! We provide premium protective suits, gloves, and masks to keep your clothes and lungs safe. However, since we are working with permanent spray paint in an urban environment, we always recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny 'artistic' speck of paint on, just in case. Better safe than sorry when you're unleashing your inner Banksy!

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

For our VIP experiences in Rumelange, we usually work with smaller, intimate groups to ensure maximum personal attention from the artist. However, we can accommodate anything from a private 1-on-1 session to larger groups of around 20 people. If you have a larger party, such as a corporate team or a big festival group, we can arrange for additional artists to join and keep the VIP vibe alive.

Can you host the VIP workshop at a location of my choice?

We pride ourselves on our flexibility. While we have prime outdoor and indoor spots in the Rumelange and Esch-sur-Alzette area, we can also come to you! If you have a private venue, garden, or corporate space with adequate ventilation, our mobile setup allows us to bring the graffiti studio right to your doorstep. We’ll bring all the gear; you just bring the energy and creativity.

How do you handle safety during the session?

Safety is our number one priority. We use high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including FFP-rated masks and nitrile gloves. Our instructors are professional artists who are well-versed in site safety. We ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and that everyone follows the safety guidelines during the session so you can focus entirely on the fun and creative side of things.

What is the payment process for the workshop?

We make it as easy as possible! At Graffitifun, we don't require any upfront payment or deposits for most bookings. You can simply book your date and pay the full amount after the workshop is finished. We accept various payment methods, ensuring your VIP experience is stress-free from the moment you enquire until the final 'tag' is dried. It’s our way of showing we’re confident you’ll love it!

The experience

Why choose a VIP session with us? Because 'average' isn't in our vocabulary. This isn't just a class; it's a backstage pass to the world of graffiti in one of Luxembourg's coolest industrial settings. 🏆

🔥 Pro-Artist Mentorship: You get one-on-one attention from active street artists who share real-world secrets and techniques.
🎨 Premium Materials: We don't skimp on the goods. You’ll use the highest-quality cans and various nozzles for that professional finish.
🚀 Ultimate Flexibility: From the location to the start time, we work around your schedule to make it a seamless experience.
✨ No Stress Booking: With our 'pay later' policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is safe with us no matter what.
📸 Epic Memories: Not many people can say they've tagged a wall in the heart of the Minett region—we make sure you leave with photos and skills to prove it.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Meet your personal pro-artist at the designated Rumelange spot. We’ll kick things off with a quick intro to the vibrant world of street art.
Concept & sketching: Work with your mentor to brainstorm a concept. Whether it's a personal tag, a logo, or an abstract piece, we'll help you sketch it out.
Safety first: Suit up in your professional gear. We provide masks, gloves, and suits to make sure you stay clean while things get messy.
Can control 101: Learn the secret techniques of the pros. We’ll show you how to handle pressure, use different nozzles, and master 'fading'.
Outline & fill: Time to hit the wall or canvas! Start by outlining your design and filling it with the premium colours you've chosen.
The fine details: This is where the VIP touch comes in. Your artist will show you how to add highlights, character details, and those crisp 'power lines'.
The final reveal: Step back and admire your work. We’ll have a mini 'gallery' viewing and take some epic photos of you with your masterpiece.
Wrap & tag: Finish off with a signature tag. You’ll leave with a new skill, awesome memories, and potentially your own canvas to take home!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Rumelange, known as the "Iron Metropolis," has a unique aesthetic that screams for creative expression. The town's deep industrial roots and the stunning backdrop of the "Land of the Red Rocks" (Minett) create a contrast that street artists dream of. While the town is famous for its National Mining Museum, we're here to add a modern, colourful layer to its rich history. The local vibe is friendly and unpretentious, making it the perfect spot to pick up a spray can without feeling any pressure. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Rumelange is located at the southernmost point of Luxembourg? It’s literally the gateway to the Red Rocks region, where the red soil provides a natural, rustic canvas that has inspired local muralists for decades!
