How long does a typical graffiti birthday party last?

Most of our birthday workshops in Nyíregyháza last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning time and creative freedom without the younger kids getting tired. If you have a larger group or want a more complex mural project, we can extend the session to 3 hours. We always ensure the pace matches the energy of the party guests!

What is the minimum age for the children?

We generally recommend our graffiti parties for children aged 8 and up. At this age, they have the physical strength to press the spray caps and the coordination to follow our artist's instructions. However, we are very flexible! If you have younger siblings attending, we can provide alternative creative tasks so everyone feels included in the street art celebration. Safety and fun are our priorities.

Is the spray paint safe for kids to use?

Yes, safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialized masks for every participant. Our spray paints are selected for their quality, and our professional artists supervise the group at all times. We ensure the workspace in Nyíregyháza is well-ventilated and that all kids understand the safety rules before they even touch a spray can.

Do you provide the location in Nyíregyháza?

Absolutely! We have several dedicated legal graffiti walls and creative spaces available in and around Nyíregyháza. If you have a private garden or a specific venue in mind, we can often bring the workshop to you using mobile plastic 'walls' or canvases. We'll handle the logistics so you can focus on the birthday cake and the guest list!

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

Rain won't stop the creativity! If the weather looks bad for an outdoor session, we have indoor alternatives available or we can use covered areas. Our mobile setups are designed to be adaptable. If we really can't go ahead due to extreme weather, our backup artist system and flexible scheduling ensure we can find a solution that keeps the birthday boy or girl happy.

How far in advance should I book the party?

We recommend booking at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance, especially for weekend slots which are very popular in Nyíregyháza. However, because we have a large team of backup artists, we can often accommodate last-minute requests. Even if you're planning a party for next week, send us a message and we'll do our absolute best to make it happen!

Does every child get to take something home?

Typically, each child gets to work on a shared mural and also creates their own individual artwork on a canvas or board to take home. It’s the ultimate party bag! In Nyíregyháza, we make sure every guest leaves with a physical reminder of their new skills and the awesome time they had. You don't need to provide any extra craft supplies.

The experience

Why choose a Graffitifun party for your child's big day? Here’s why we’re the favourite choice for parents looking for something different in Nyíregyháza:

Zero stress for parents: We handle all the setup, the teaching, and the cleanup. You just bring the cake! 🎂
Real street cred: The kids learn actual techniques from professional artists, not just "arts and crafts" teachers. 🎤
Unique souvenirs: Every guest leaves with their own spray-painted canvas to decorate their room. 🏆
Total safety: We use high-quality, low-pressure cans and provide full protective gear for every child. 💪
Ultimate flexibility: Can't come to us? Our mobile workshops can be set up almost anywhere in Nyíregyháza. ✨
No risk booking: With no upfront payment and backup artists ready, your party is guaranteed to go ahead flawlessly. 🎉

Step by step

Pick your date: Choose your preferred Saturday or Sunday and contact us to check availability in Nyíregyháza.
Consult with an artist: We'll discuss the birthday child's favourite colours, themes, or "crew name" to personalise the session.
Safety briefing: When the big day arrives, our pro artist explains how to use the gear and keep things safe and tidy.
Master the basics: The kids start with 'tagging' and 'throwing up' shapes to get a feel for the spray can's pressure.
Design the mural: The group works together to sketch out a large-scale piece, often featuring the birthday child's name.
Full-colour spraying: It's time to fill in the colours! Our artists help with techniques like fades, sharp outlines, and highlights.
Personal creations: Each guest gets their own canvas to create a mini-masterpiece they can hang in their bedroom.
Photo session: We wrap up with a group photo in front of the completed mural—the perfect memory of a legendary party!

Good to know

Local culture

Nyíregyháza might be famous for its incredible Sóstó Zoo and the relaxing thermal baths, but there is a growing urban heart beating in this city too. From the creative energy around the Bujtosi Lake to the hidden murals in the city centre, Nyíregyháza is the perfect backdrop for a modern, artistic celebration. While we love the local history, we’re here to add a splash of contemporary colour to the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg region.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Nyíregyháza is one of the greenest cities in Hungary? We love bringing our outdoor workshops to this "city of trees" because the natural light makes the graffiti colours pop! 🌳🎨
