What is the minimum age for a graffiti birthday party?

We suggest that children be at least 6 years old to participate in our Santa Cruz birthday workshops. This ensures they have the hand strength to operate the spray cans and can follow the safety instructions effectively. For younger children, our artists provide extra assistance to make sure everyone feels like a pro by the end of the session. It is a fantastic way to develop motor skills and creative confidence!

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective ponchos to keep clothes clean. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the group closely, ensuring that the spray paint stays on the canvas and away from faces. We use water-based or low-solvent paints whenever possible to provide a comfortable environment for all the little creators involved.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

The standard birthday workshop in Santa Cruz typically lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning time, practice sessions, and the final creation of their individual or group masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule in mind or want to combine it with a cake-cutting ceremony, we are happy to adjust the timing to suit your party flow perfectly.

Do the kids need to have any drawing skills beforehand?

No prior artistic talent or experience is needed at all! Our workshops are designed for beginners. Our expert graffiti artists guide the kids through every step, from basic tag techniques to more complex filling and outlining. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring every child feels proud of what they have created, regardless of their starting skill level. It is all about personal expression!

What do the children get to take home after the party?

The best part is that each child gets to take their own masterpiece home! Whether they worked on a high-quality canvas or a sturdy board, their personalized street art serves as the ultimate party bag. No more plastic toys—they get to hang a real piece of art on their bedroom wall as a memory of the best birthday party ever in Santa Cruz.

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

Santa Cruz weather is usually beautiful, but we always have a plan B! We can host workshops in covered outdoor areas or well-ventilated indoor spaces. If the weather looks truly uncooperative, our 'backup artist' system ensures we are flexible. We also offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so we will work with you to ensure the party happens in a safe and dry environment without losing any of the excitement.

How far in advance should I book the birthday party?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekend slots in popular areas like Equipetrol or near Los Tajibos. Typically, booking 4-6 weeks in advance is ideal to secure your preferred date and artist. However, because we have a large team and backup artists always on standby, we can often accommodate last-minute requests. Just drop us a message to check our current availability!

Local culture

Santa Cruz de la Sierra is a city bursting with tropical energy and a rapidly growing urban art scene. From the colourful murals found in the Barrio Lindo to the modern aesthetics of the Equipetrol district, 'Cruceños' have always embraced vibrant expression. Our workshops tap into this local spirit of "Alegría," encouraging kids to use the bright, sun-drenched palettes that reflect the Bolivian lowlands. We don't just teach art; we connect the next generation to the creative pulse of their own city.

🎨 Fun Fact: Santa Cruz is home to some of the largest street art festivals in Bolivia, where international artists turn ordinary walls into massive open-air galleries!
