Do students need prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our university workshops in Santa Cruz are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to those with a creative streak. Our professional artists guide you through every stage, from basic spray can control to advanced layering. Most students are surprised at how quickly they can create a masterpiece. It is all about the 'learning by doing' vibe, and we ensure everyone feels confident holding a can.

What safety equipment is provided for the workshop?

We take safety very seriously. We provide all participants with high-quality FFP3 masks, protective overalls, and gloves to ensure a clean and safe environment. We also give a thorough safety briefing at the start of each session. While we use professional-grade spray paints, we always ensure the workshop area is well-ventilated—usually outdoors or in a large hall—to keep the air fresh and the vibes high.

Can you accommodate large student groups or entire faculties?

We are incredibly flexible! For larger university groups in Santa Cruz, we can set up several large plastic-wrapped walls or 'cellograff' stations. We have a solid roster of back-up artists to ensure we can scale up the team as needed. Whether you have a small student society of 10 or a massive faculty event for 200, we have the kit and the crew to handle it.

How does the payment process work?

The best part about our university workshops is that there is no upfront payment required. You can book your date and confirm your artist today, but you only pay after the workshop has been completed and you are 100% satisfied with the results. We want the booking process to be as stress-free as possible for student organisers and faculty staff alike.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

Typically, a standard university graffiti workshop lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This allows enough time for the intro, sketching, practising techniques, and completing a final collaborative mural. If you have a specific schedule—perhaps a quick break during a student fest or a full afternoon of team building—we can easily tailor the duration to fit your event plan perfectly.

Are you available for workshops at universities outside of Santa Cruz?

While we love the vibe in Santa Cruz, we are definitely mobile! We frequently host workshops in other major Bolivian cities like La Paz, Cochabamba, and Sucre. Regardless of which campus you are on, our team will bring the paint, the boards, and the energy to your location. Just let us know where your university is settled, and we will be there!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next university event? It is the perfect way to get students away from their screens and into a collaborative, hands-on environment. Here is why it works: 🔥

Stress relief: Nothing beats the satisfying "hiss" of a spray can to decompress after a week of intense lectures.
Inclusion for all: You don't need to be an 'artist' to participate; our workshops are designed so everyone can contribute.
Unique branding: Create a piece of art that represents your faculty’s pride or your student society’s mission.
Professional guidance: Learn from real street artists who bring years of industry experience to your campus. 🎤
Zero risk: With our 'pay after' policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is in safe hands.
Memorable content: It’s the ultimate Instagrammable event that will have the whole campus talking! 🏆

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: We start with a quick history of street art and a look at some local Santa Cruz styles to get the creative juices flowing.
Safety first: Get geared up! We hand out masks, gloves, and overalls to make sure the only thing getting painted is the wall.
Technique demo: Our pro artists show you the ropes—thin lines, fat caps, fading, and how to stop those pesky drips.
Sketching the vision: Grab a marker! Students map out their ideas on the surface, choosing themes that represent their faculty or student life.
First layers: Start filling in the big shapes. This is where you get the feel for the pressure of the spray can.
Adding the details: Time to sharpen up! We add shadows, highlights, and outlines to make the artwork pop off the wall.
The tag: Every artist needs a signature. Learn how to create your own unique tag to finish off the piece.
Group photoshoot: We celebrate the final mural with a fun group photo session—perfect for the university's Instagram!
Clean up: We handle the tidy-up, leaving your campus exactly as we found it (except for the amazing new art, of course).

Local culture

Santa Cruz de la Sierra is a city that pulses with modern energy and tropical heat, and its street art scene is no different. From the bustling corners near the Plaza 24 de Septiembre to the modern murals in Equipetrol, the city’s walls tell stories of culture, growth, and rebellion. Our workshops tap into this local 'Camba' spirit, encouraging students to express the unique identity of Santa Cruz through bold colours and local motifs. 🌴

Fun fact: Santa Cruz is home to some of the most impressive vertical street art projects in Bolivia, with local artists often blending traditional indigenous symbols with contemporary urban styles!
