Do I need to be an artist to join a graffiti workshop?

Absolutely not! Our cultural workshops in La Plata are designed for everyone from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and moving up to complex layering. Most of our participants haven't touched a spray can before, and they always leave with a masterpiece and a huge smile on their face.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep you and your clothes safe. We use professional-grade spray paints in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially prepared indoor spaces. Our instructors constantly monitor the group to ensure everyone is using the equipment correctly while having a blast in a secure environment.

How long does a typical street art session last?

Our workshops in the 'City of Diagonals' usually last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of street art, practice different techniques on boards, and then collaborate on a final large-scale piece. If you have a specific schedule for your event, we can often jump-start the process or extend the creative session to fit your needs!

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We bring everything you need! This includes a huge range of premium spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear, and the surfaces we'll be painting on. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, and bring plenty of energy. We handle all the logistics and the messy bits.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

While we love the sunshine of Buenos Aires Province, we always have a Plan B. If the weather looks like it won't cooperate, we can move the workshop to a sheltered outdoor area or an indoor location using low-odour water-based paints. Thanks to our local network in La Plata, your cultural event won't be ruined by a bit of rain!

Can you accommodate large groups for corporate or city events?

We offer great flexibility for groups in La Plata. Whether it's an intimate gathering of 10 people or a massive cultural festival for 200, we have the staff and equipment to scale up. For very large groups, we bring in extra professional artists to ensure every participant gets personal attention and guidance. Just let us know your numbers for a custom plan.

How does the payment process work?

No upfront payment is required when you book your La Plata workshop! We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel confident. You can settle the payment after the workshop has been successfully completed. This makes the booking process stress-free and ensures that your only focus is on enjoying the creative energy of the day.

The experience

Unleash your inner rebel: Break away from the screen and get your hands (well, your gloves) dirty in a productive, artistic way! 🔥
Top-tier mentors: Work side-by-side with professional street artists who are passionate about sharing their secrets with you.
Zero stress booking: With no upfront payments and backup artists on standby, your event is in the safest hands possible. ✅
A unique bond: Nothing brings a team or community together like collaborating on a massive, colourful mural.
All-inclusive fun: From the first cap to the final photo, we provide everything so you can focus 100% on the vibes. ✨
Cultural immersion: Dive deep into the local art scene of one of Argentina's most architecturally beautiful cities.

Step by step

Intro and safety briefing: We kick things off with a warm welcome and a quick safety chat. You'll get geared up in your protective suits and masks so you're ready to spray like a pro.
Street art history: Learn about the roots of graffiti and how it evolved into the global cultural phenomenon we see today, with a focus on its impact in Argentina.
The first spray: Our artists demonstrate basic can control, showing you how to manage pressure, distance, and different types of 'caps' for varied line widths.
Sketching your vision: Grab the markers! You'll sketch out your ideas on paper first, brainstorming themes that represent your group's unique vibe.
Background techniques: Start on the wall or canvas by creating vibrant backgrounds using fades, splatters, and colour blending to set the stage for your work.
Outlining and filling: This is where the magic happens. You'll bring your sketch to life, learning how to fill large areas efficiently and keep those outlines sharp.
Adding the 'bits': We teach you how to add highlights, shadows, and 3D effects that make your letters pop off the surface.
The finishing touch: In a collaborative finale, we add those final details and 'tags' that unify the entire piece into one cohesive work of art.
Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate your creation with a group photoshoot before we handle the cleanup, leaving you with memories (and photos) that last forever!

Good to know

Duration: Standard sessions are 1.5 to 3 hours, but we can customise the timing to suit your event schedule. ⏱️

Local culture

La Plata is a masterpiece of urban planning, known worldwide for its perfectly symmetrical grid and stunning "diagonals". This organized layout provides a unique canvas for the city's thriving underground art scene. From the bustling areas around Plaza Moreno to the creative hubs near the National University of La Plata, the city breathes inspiration. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, celebrating the fusion of traditional academic culture and raw, modern street expression.

Fun Fact: La Plata was the first planned city in South America to be fully lit by electricity, earning it the nickname "The City of Light"—a perfect setting for the bright, fluorescent colours we use in our art! 💡

When you join us for a session here, you aren't just doing a workshop; you're becoming part of a local tradition of innovation and artistic rebellion. We love incorporating local landmarks or "Platense" themes into our group murals! 🇦🇷
